  1. Does anyone know if they offer photo retouching? I always have my family pics done while cruising....well puberty has caught up with my son. He has acne and is VERY self conscious about it. He won't want to be in any photos if they can't be retouched, and I can't say that I blame him.

  2. I can't help you with the email address but I can tell you that I emailed the maître d from the Sunshine and he responded in less than 12 hours. But for what you're trying to do, you should be able to call Carnival, give them you and your friends booking numbers and have them link your booking.

  3. Depends on the package you purchase, they have different rate plans for groups of minutes.

Here is some pricing information, but they could have increased it. I bought the 120 min package so I could facetime the kids and check emails at night.

This is very helpful. Thank you very much!!

  4. The walk to the British hilton is probably the safest you will find in nassau. No cabs or buses required. Only problem you will have on this 3 or 4 block walk is finding a space to walk on the sidewalk. It will be crowded with tourists.

Oh.....so it's just a few blocks from the cruise ships??? Thanks!!

  5. Does anyone know if Island Marketing provides transportation to the Hilton beach? We're really nervous about taking the bus or cabs after hearing about the rise in crime in Nassau.

    Thanks!!

  6. We were planning on booking excursions through Carnival after hearing about the crime in both ports. However, the excursions are so expensive and there's not much to choose from. I'm assuming there will be a lot of independent tour operators when we get off the ship, right? How safe is it do do this? I'm in charge of planning for 14 people.....help!!!!

  8. We are open to suggestion!! They wanted to do the ATV excursion but you have to be 22 years old to drive. The power snorkel excursion on our cruise ship only have 5 openings available and we are a group of 10, so that's out. They may be interested in renting wave runners. Can anyone tell me what beach offers that? All suggestions are welcome........

    Thanks!

  9. I hope my help hasn't come too late! My boyfriend (26) and myself (24) went on them on the December 1st sailing and had a blast!! I don't want to sound like a snob, but don't expect the jeeps to be in good condition. But the excursion was so much fun. The tour guide (cant remember his name) jokes over the walkie-talkies and puts on a great tour of the island. The jeeps allow you beautiful views all over. They do seat 4 in the jeeps. If you aren't a group of 4 they will put 2 couples together. The boyfriend and I lucked out they let us have one to ourselves which was really nice. Sitting 5 in a jeep with 3 small children in the back I would say is do-able but very tight. The back seat only have seatbelts for 2 people and they are the old over the lap kind. Keep in my the excursion stops at a restaurant/beach that is also beautiful. We weren't expecting this and didn't have our bathing suits on:( It is a very quiet spot and worth the spot. A nice place for lunch with a back deck right on the beach. I believe it was called the Poop Deck or something of that sort.

What was the name of the tour company? You didn't mention it in your reply. Thanks

  10. We did the auto progresso tour for our Dec cruise and had a great time. My husband is already planning on going back so that we can do one of their other tours! there were only a total of maybe 15 people on our bus so it wasn't crowded at all. They talked a little bit of the way there and give you a little history and the ride out there was beautiful...or to me it was....Our 7 and 9 year old handled it just fine WAYYYY better than I expected! My advice is to make sure that if you do any shopping in the little market there and want something...buy it then and take it with you becuase when you come back they took us straight to the ship. I am sure they would have dropped us off there but there really wasn't any time becuase it was almost time for us to be back on the ship. I would reccomend this tour over and over again! Even the kids enjoyed this not so much for the history but just because to them it was like a big play ground getting to go in and out of the ruins....and also seeing all the iguanas! They were EVERYWHERE!!!

If you make purchases before the tour, do they allow you to keep them on the bus while touring the ruins?
