Leaving on Freedom on August 18!
Thank you for sharing your review :)
-
I googled it account find anything recent. The ones I found were at least 3 years old.
Thanks!

Great, Thanks for the quick responses.

preferably whole milk. Where and when is it available?
I don't drink milk so I never looked for it. :)
Thanks!

We will be in St Thomas on Sunday August 19 on RCCL Freedom of the Seas from 7am-6pm. I am assuming we will be docking at Crown Bay. we have been to St Thomas 3x before and always went to St John, this time we want to go into Charlotte Amaile and to a beach. Since it is a Sunday do the shops close early? I read that they do. Also, cab tot town and then cab to beach, Sapphire, Meagans Bay or someplace else? I read about Emerald Beach Resort which is near the port, is that any good?
Thanks for any input.

Looking forward to reading your full review. Going on Freedom 8/18!!!

I am sailing In August and my flight homes leaves at 1:30pm. My group is using RCCL transfer back to the airport. Our ship is docking at 6am.

I FB messaged last Friday Emerald Beach about renting chairs/umbrellas and this was their reply-
Chairs and umbrellas are $7 for rent. There will be a beach attendant walking around asking if you are a guest at the hotel.
Hope this helps.

Cruise calendars has been updated to show Anthem and Adventures 2018 summer schedules.
-
The one time I stopped on Labadee, there was man wading up paper currency and throwing it over the "wall". It didn't take long for the RCCL employees to put a stop to it.
-
Remember, we're always wrong here on cruise critic. lol
I was thinking about that when I was on the phone. ;)

Freedom is not going to Europe. Freedom is expected to homeport in San Juan. Those itineraries should be out next week with the rest of the Caribbean sailings.
I knew he was wrong but wasn't inclined to get into an argument with him. I just Thanks and hung up.

I called RCCL last night to fins out about Freedom for summer 2018 and rep Andrew told me it was going to Europe and itineraries would be released the week of 3/20/17. Pretty sure he didn't know what he was talking about :D
Any thoughts on when Freedom itinerary will be released? The same time as Anthem??

When I first contacted Aruba Trikes, i had 700 days to go, booked it a year out. ;)
HAHA! I love it!
Enjoy your cruise!:)
-
We did the Trikes last October while in Aruba. Thoroughly enjoyed it. They were EZ PZ to operate and we covered the entire island of Aruba. Having covered so much of the island, I can say that there is sooo much to do as Aruba is one of the larger commercial islands in the Caribbean. If you chose to do the Trikes, I suggest that you go as early as possible. This will allow you time to enjoy some beach time. The Trike guys will drop you off wherever you wish. A few hours on the trikes followed by a few hours on a beach is a great day in Aruba!
Thanks for this! Now a crazy question.....
If we do the trikes in the morning will the beaches be really crowded int he afternoon?
-
Slightly related, when are you going? I'll have a review and pictures up featuring our excursion with Aruba trikes in May.
Not until next summer, I have serious planning issues!!;)
I look forward to reading your review!

I have no idea what to do here!
We will be a family of 6, me, DH, DD25 her DH27, DS21 and his Girlfriend 21
We love to snorkel and laze on a beach but what else to do?
We will be in Aruba and Curacao also so trying to decide what to do on each day.
Thanks!
-
Have never been to Aruba, Bonaire or Curacao?
After a little research thinking about doing trikes on Aruba.
Which has the best beaches? And which beach would you recommend?
Thanks!

My family is in the camp of "we don't dress up on land" so we do formal on a cruise. The men rent tuxes and the women wear formal gowns. It has made for some beautiful family pictures over the years.
For full disclosure, my husband and son started renting tuxes because neither owns a suit :D Easier/cheaper to rent the tux than buy the suit.

My family was on Freedom when the kids were 12 and 16, Oasis when they were 15 and 20...I think their favorite was Oasis. There is so much to do. But I don't think you can go wrong with either.

Really looking forward to being back in Freedom. She was our first RCCL ship way back in 2008.
