Old fashioned is a pretty popular drink where I am in Wisconsin. Combos are whiskey with sweet or sour or brandy with sweet or sour. My favorite is southern comfort old fashion sour with olive and mushroom. They may be called something else in different parts of country. I'm sure the ship has the ingredients ie. Whiskey or whatever alcohol, bitters, soda, etc. Learn your dh recipe and tell bartender, it should be no problem to make.

Does carnival have the fresh squeezed oj machines and if so how much is it and would it be included in the cheers package?

Here is what I came up with. Got a rental car from LAX, hotel in north Hollywood the night before the cruise(I know a little far from long beach but we can see some sights as we never have been to California before). Going to drop the car off at Long beach downtown the next morning and take a taxi or trolly to the pier. Cost of rental car one way was $58. This gives us freedom the night before.

To get back to LAX, we rented a car from Avis Long Beach downtown. $38 total only. Flight is at about 3:30 pm so we can drive back to LAX from Long Beach and stop and have a Sushi lunch before heading back to the airport. Thanks everyone for your input.

Are there any cheaper options than the $17 a day parking at the port?

I saw a nice list of bar menu pics/prices listed on the forum but the list was from 2010. Is there an updated pic list or price list/drink menu from 2012 or 2013?

The reason I ask is the list I saw from 2010, the mixed drinks and such were price at $8. Just wondering how much of a price hike there has been since 2010.

I think kids are too entitled. What happened to enjoying a cruise for the cruise. The food, the ship, the shows and at the same time visiting tropical ports of call. That isn't enough?

Addicted? Strong word, but. . . Yes totally fricking addicted. It was so awesome. The service is just amazing.

My wife and I also got off the Enchantment today also. Our 1st cruise, and oh so great. Staying at Fort Laud. for the night before we fly home tomorrow.

Our waitstaff was wonderful! Ask for the waiter named Joe Marie from the Phillipines. He is so very attentive and friendly. I am hoping to post a review also in the near future but can hopefully answer any questions if anyone has some.

BTW, I and my team took 3rd place in the Quest. :D
