  1. We were on this cruise too. In a Havana overlooking the pool. Loved it. I thought the lido was pretty much like that on the Breeze. There are 2 Lido buffets. I never understood that concept. Did you guys get sick on the cruise or right after? Loads of people I’ve chatted with afterwards were sick. 4/4 in our group. I’m still coughing a little. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  2. We were on the Feb 8 sailing. I developed a cough 4 days in as did my husband. I’m just now getting over it. It was violent coughing fits. Since returning home and chatting with our Facebook group of over 600 members from that cruise, I’m finding that most of us got sick that week. Now I’m thinking we should have notified Carnival. 3. Anyone know of any excursions in Aruba, Curacao or La Romana that can accommodate a scooter?
  4. We are Platinum and our friends traveling with us are first timers. Their reservation is linked to ours. My question is can they board with us? We are in separate cabins.
  5. For some silly reason my friend keeps renting on the ship. She could have bought 2 scooters by now. They really are not that expensive. Mine has a higher weight limit and was only $1600. Heck the lift for my car was more than that.
  6. Although it doesn't need it I charge mine every night while sleeping. I have a Pride Victory. Its a heavy duty one and has a 15 mile limit. That being said, they do use more power going uphill so I would calculate about 10 miles per charge. Have never had it run out yet.
  7. I would talk with a PD clinic and have them make the arrangements to ship supplies to the ship. It is done all the time.
  8. My only experience with this was on the NCL Getaway. Put your card in the door and it auto opens. Inside is a button to push when you are leaving the cabin.
  9. I have a really heavy duty cable lock. when needed I lock it to a bench or iron fence. Those are abundant in the islands. LOL
  10. I ride mine right to the door of the plane. They take it from there and stow it with the luggage. We wait to be last off the plane and it is waiting for me at the door again. Easy peasy.
