We need suggestions on cruise transportation from Orlando to PC. Flying in a day early and staying in Orlando. Also help with transportation back to Orlando airport. Thanks. We’ve always driven to Port Canaveral.

I am curious, does anyone with January sailings have info loaded into the RCI app yet? I have info for an April 2022 sailing but nothing for January. That seems very odd to me.

To answer your app question, same for me. Our January Jewel cruise info won't load on the app, but our Oct, 2022 Mariner does.  

I haven't received an email about our final payment, which is in 2 weeks.

At least you are getting that message. My Explorer cruise in November isn't even a supported ship right now. 

You're right! Our Jan. Radiance has been canceled, and it wasn't a supported one, either.

I have a Jan. 15, 2022, cruise on Jewel. It's showing up on the Royal App, however, it states "We're working on the fun....Check back later for more details. Sailing on a Charter?  Details of your adventure await onboard."

What's going on? My Oct. 16. 2022, Mariner cruise allows me to navigate all my information. Both ships are supported by the app.

Radiance, January 2022!

I'm going to chime in here. I grew up camping and always wanted to get back to my roots. My husband and I are semi-retired educators, so we bought a new 5th wheel in 2019. It's a Keystone Half-ton Cougar. 

When, Covid shut school down, we headed to Gulf Shores, Alabama, in May and stayed for 3 months. 

We do camp close to home, too. Right now, our camper is in storage. Our first trip is Spring Break in March. Then, we're off to Gulf Shores again, May 1 - August 1. 

Buying this camper has been one of the best decisions we've ever made. It's our 'condo on wheels.'

We still cruise. Unfortunately, our cruise is cancelled this month. I did book us one for Jan., 2022, a 9-nighter on Radiance out of Miami. I miss cruising terribly and will be beyond ready to step on a ship again!

Just got off the phone with RC. Total waste of time. I voiced my grievance and gave her my name/email. She said to also say something to the LA on the ship, like that's going to help. Additionally, I asked her why some received email notifications while others(me) did not.  And, another tidbit-she said that this is effective only on Majesty, not Empress(I've seen it mentioned on CC) 

I'll let you know if I receive an email.

I will let you know Saturday, January 25. We’re very disappointed that RC has taken away the nightly diamond event in the VIKING CROWN LOUNGE😉! This now ‘stripped perk’ would be just our luck. 
  Sure wish our paths would have crossed this time. I’ll definitely post here once we’re on the ship..

That's shame.  They put out a decent spread of appetizers in the VCL...and the venue itself is excellent; one of the gorgeous panoramic Viking Crown Lounge views.  Just a nice place to be and plenty of space without the confines of some of the newer broom closet lounges. 

 

On the other hand, if the regular bar in the VCL is open it is still a good spot to enjoy, but just another downgrade overall.

I am really bummed to see this. DL is where we enjoy meeting so many fellow cruisers. We've made lifelong friends. To us, it's not so much the 'free' booze, it's all about the opportunity to meet others.
