From Air to Sea!

I didn’t think to check my app until I saw your post. I just checked and ours states that we also have the new 60 even though we only paid for the old 50! We don’t sail until next May but I too would love to know what’s going on.

We planning Alaska in 08/24 - started last year and finally getting excited! Cruise booked ✔️ Airline Flights booked ✔️ Excursions planned (but not booked yet) This thread was really helped and has me excited again for this cruise. We haven’t cruised since 2019 and I’m ready to go. I just haven’t been to excited to plan until now since we had so many family problems - my in laws are not well (at the same time) she had cancer, he has dementia - my SIL just passed away - I am retired but I am in the beginning stages of starting my own business. But when I come to the cc boards, I feel like I have found my people 😄 I’m the planner and everyone here has great ideas. Thanks for sharing!

We’ve always booked directly with Princes in the past and have also booked Alaska ourselves for ‘24. Now we’ve decided to transfer our booking. What is the procedure? We have a TA but Princess won’t speak to him yet but the Princess rep sent me a form which I filled out a week ago and still nothing! Is it always this difficult? And how long does it take to actually transfer over? Thanks

We have finally planned our first cruise in three years. We decided on the destination (Alaska) and the ship (Sapphire) but we really need some expert advice on cabins! At first we thought about the Premium Suite at the very forward of the ship - I love that balcony but is it practical (wind, etc) and can it be used while at sea (I’ve read different things on this). Then we also like the Aft Grand Suite. We’ve always sailed in a balcony but wanted to treat ourselves since our 30th anniversary cruise was cancelled in 2020. Any suggestions would be helpful and appreciated.
