Thank you, I would like to explore outside of the touristy area, but afraid of getting stuck without transportation. I'm used to uncrowded beaches where I live in Florida...although the water looks beautiful in Costa Maya, congested loungers are of no interest! Anyone know if Nohoch Kay Beach Club allows drop in or is it all AI only?

Hi, I have been on tripadvisor and saw a number of restaurants on the southern end of Mahahual that have great reviews, beautiful views but little to no info. on CC. Has anyone been to Yemaya, Sulumar, Maya Luna or any of the other southern end places? Hayha Beach also has fabulous reviews but it is farther south of Maya Chan, so not sure about transportation costs. We would like to spend most of the day walking/ exploring the Malecon but a lounger and snack on an uncrowded beach would be a nice way to end it before heading back to port!

I am wondering if you can just go to Nohoch Kay Club for lunch or a couple of beers and use a lounger for an hour or so? Not interested in AI.

Has anyone heard news about St. Thomas recovery in the last month? I am having a difficult time finding online info. Our HAL cruise will be there shortly and they have several inland tours as well as snorkel tours available. We live in Florida and had hurricane damage to our home ourselves...we will contribute to the island economy, but don't want to do a tour of more hurricane devastation. If anyone has recent advice on island or snorkel tours and quality of water, please post!:)

Any ideas from cruisers who have recently been here? TA is full of wonderful reviews of tours from Punta Cana, but most of them are full day tours that pick up at resorts early morning for full day trips. Would love to hear from people that have recent experience!

Hi we are a family of five that will be arriving by cruise ship to Naples on a Saturday in June. I have always wanted to see the Amalfi Coast and thought we would do a tour to Positano and Amalfi. This week I have done a lot of research and reading about all of the turns and twists and am afraid 3/5 of us would probably end up with motion sickness! I am thinking it will not be worth it to spend $300+to all get car sick!!!! We are fine on the cruise, but turns really get to us, and medication doesn't help.

So now I need to figure out another (nautical) way for us to see things...on a tight budget. Any advice would be appreciated. We can handle a short bus ride with some turns, but not an hour +!!
