We are doing Relaxed Day Tour in December. If you are cruising next year I can come back and let you know how it was.  The TripAdvisor reviews look very good.

Can you give your feedback on the tour please?

  2. So if you had one 10 hour day when coming by cruise boat what would you do? Keep in mind we've been there on cruise approx 5 years ago. We took the bus to Eagle beach & rode jet skis. Also walked through some shops & that big resort  hotel across from our ship that has the little boat those goes inside & out ~ wish I could remember the name of that nice resort

  3. Has anyone experienced renting a car from Hertz Rental car in the Sheraton by the port or from anywhere else?? How could we get a map to get us to the rain forest, wondering if a map might be provided?

  4. We stayed in 6206 on Horizon. Went out all the time when she was docked. Too windy otherwise & doors were locked when underway. Deck 7 is the same. PS Loved our cabin.

I have to ask how loud was the noise from the theatre/lounge below? Im sorry to say we didn't book 7th deck in time, so only 6204 is left 1 I'm thinkng no way due to noise from below! Please let me know your experience

  5. There are updates on Hurricane Mathew and Freeport on other threads. Hopefully Carnival will give you more notice and you can plan incase your itinerary changes.

I didn't see where it said closed? I saw it had damage mostly to hotels. That's why I was seeing if others had emails from Carnival... because I was told different than another cruiser on my cruise. so now I'm real confused!! we leave tomorrow!

  6.

we are supposed to go to Freeport on the valor Oct. 21St. On a blog I am seeing fellow cruisers got an email we are not going anymore. I only booked 2 days ago & called Carnival this morning & was told there has been no change in itinerary!! Please help if you can elaborate:) Thank you

  7. best beach is Palm beach near the high rise motels, you can go to Moomba bar and restaurant and rent chairs. also beach areas near low rise hotels and further east of high rise in what is called wind surfer beach where snorkeling off shore is good. no lack of beaches. although baby beach is not a favorite of mine since its man made.

you can hop the bus for like $2.30 cash and go all the way to the lighthouse and windsurfer beach to snorkel and back to high rise area and moomba and then to low rise area with mall and shops and back to port. its easy to get around in aruba by bus or taxi.

So where do we catch this bus, when coming in on a cruise?

  8. I did answer this question recently on a few posts. We were just in Aruba a couple of weeks ago and I would recommend just outside the terminal there are guys in blue shirts (the info center inside the terminal directed us to them) from a company (can't remember the specific name) that were offering an island tour for $20.00pp. They had large new airconditioned buses..we went to the rock formations, lighthouse etc...had a great guide/driver..well worth it to us and we enjoyed the 3 hour tour. After seeing the open air bus group (they looked HOT) at the rock formation I'm glad we paid the extra $5.00 for the bus we were on

Someone from Kentucky always gets my attention :) :) Originally from Ashland.

I would love to get the name of this company & book prior to arrival!! if anyone else has done this It would be amazing if we could get the name!

  9. I was hoping to find a local that could help or someone that had experienced specific courses themselves. I see many courses in my research, but not sure of location compared to port.

  10. Coming in on a cruise, so transportation does play a part along w/ course fees. Any & all input & recommendations would be appreciated!!
