i did a shore excursion from rci on debarkation day that dropped us at the airport so i can't tell you about the carnival excursion but el yunque is definitely worth taking the trip to see. The ride was about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes from san juan to the rainforest for us, probably about the same for you.

We did do it again when we stayed in san juan for 2 days pre-cruise. Rented a car from charlies and spent the whole day hiking the trails. A couple of really long ones up the mountain and down to the largest waterfall. There are many shorter trails to enjoy.

where can we get the best info on what to see in the rain forest, like a map where the water falls are etc. Also directions to there if we were to rent a car?

Your excursion in St.Thomas is it possible to snorkel on that boat or is it a deep dive?

Which Area did you dock at in Cozumel? I know there're 2 & I am tinkin his ship docks downtown ? Any photos of the ship at dock?

Does this ship always dock at the same spot in Cozumel? The dock Carnival usually goes to has the "Three Amigos" restaurant right there & a small shopping square... which one is this? I think the other dock is in downtown Cozumel. Does the Paradise always dock at the same one?? If so was it the down town dock?

:confused:Just thought of this ?? If we have Enterprise pick us up at the port, then how do we get back after leaving the car at the office since they are closed on Sun??? How far away is it from the port? Is it walking distance?

Too bad that sight doesn't work :( the only thing I can find is that our boat will be in port! Was hoping to see on the map where we'll walk into port

Yes, we booked ahead of time and booked on the internet. You get a discount if you book ahead, so well worth it. There were no problem. I thought the company was very professional and we loved the trainer that we had.

Did you book through cozumel tours or through dolphin discovery direct? That is what I am tryingto find info ut on. If this discount site is legit. they offer lower prices than dolphin discovery itself???

did you book dolphis ahead of time & if so did you give cradit card info over the phone ? It makes me nervous. What do you think about booking with this site/ company??? It supposed to be the same. I will tell thm we are staying in a condo so nos cruise price

Just wanted to know how you were able to take pictures @ the dolphin encounter. I have read in many reviews that they don"t let you take your own. Was the camera waterproof. Would they let me take a disposable underwater camera? (the kind that go on your wrist) Did anyone say anything to you about taking pictures?

5130 sits ontop of the lounge area--not the bathroom. Most shows are done in there way before midnight.

Thank you so much for the pictures ~ very nice of you! I have kids so a few night we'd be in around 10:00pm. Have you ever heard of anyone staying in this location on the Miracle? I wish I could find info for sure on it. It's the last extended balcony cabin for 4 avaiable! Also the TA is the one that mentioned the room looks to be above the bathrooms, not the actual show lounge, what do you think?

You wont get noise from the bathroom. an extended balcony is much better then a regular balcony.

 

Can people look over into your balcony-- yes you are only seperated by a divider so the person standing at the rail can see into your balcony.

 

Also there are cameras that can see into each balcony.

It is cabin 5130 do you have a deck plan to look & see what you think. The other cabin in 7294 if you had choice which would you take for same price I was worired 5130 might have noise from below????I was wondering if the people above an extended balcony would be able to look over & see intoyour if they do not have an extended balconyThanks for you help you seem to help alot of people!!:)

5230 has extended balcony which seems nice, but the location acrs ne above bathroom area at entrance to main show lounge. The other is safe fro noise, but reg. balcony. Please give intput is extended balcony a any better or do others get to lookover into your balcony?
