We had the MCS. It is semi-inclosed. The butler brought us a couple of blankets for the lounge chairs. Priceless! 😍

I was dubious, since I had read here on Cruise Critic plenty of not-so-great things about Celebrity (mostly on penny-pinching). But I was willing (grudgingly) to give it a college try.
So would we sail Celebrity Ascent again? Absolutely!
So I was wrong to hesitate — we had a seriously wonderful time on Celebrity Ascent. No regrets at all.

Marne,
I believe we were on one of the cruises with you. I am so pleased, but not surprised, that you throughly enjoyed your Ascent cruise. We were very pleased also. 😊

Recently, while doing a little research I noticed a newer category of cabin on the Reflection called the Signature Suite. . Has anyone every stayed in a Signature Suite and if so did you experience any noise from the club at night?
Signature Suites on Reflection are not a new category. It was originally on Reflection when she debut. Along with the Reflection Suite, it was going to be a new category added to the other "S" class ships. But, because of Covid, the "revolution" was delayed/cancelled.
The Signature Suites and Reflection Suite has their own private hall way. Only passengers in the Reflection and/or Signature Suites's room key works on the door to the hallway.
The rooms are well insulated from surrounding noises. We never heard anything that was disturbing. I believe you would love the Signature Suite. 😊

The way I read the FAQs was they would have contacted all TA regarding adjustments by 4/17. I have notified our TA since we have a cruise on 4/5. Hoping they will reach out to X vs waiting to contaced.
Have you heard from your T.A. yet? If not, I think you will be pleased. 😊

Before you "reprice" your cruise, make sure you know everything you will change. For example, if you booked when Celebrity was offering a nice OBC and gratuities, you would lose them. Just a FYI. 🙂

There have been so many complaints about this I, as a Zenith who also has complained about the policy, doubt that the complaints of a single person made the difference. It took complaints from multiple of folks. You are exactly correct. A lot of folks have put in a "suggestion" to change to cruise only for the Retreat. 😊

I've never required an interview for renewal. I think we have renewed twice and both time in came back within a week.

For this waffle trip they take the next train back down so you have a longer stop.
I believe I would enjoy that excursion. 😋
