Yes, one of the better ones. I also know that if I used my own cruising specialist TA they would probably be able to better these deals slightly.

I am brand spankin' new to the whole cruise critic/meet and mingle scene, and was wondering the purpose/benefits of using this door sign? Not being snarky, I honestly just don't know how it all works.....

There are a variety of reasons people use Door Signs. Just some examples:

1. Indicate your door amongst all the others - makes it easier to find for your children or yourselves in the long line of doors.

2. Celebration of some sort - birthday, anniversary, holiday, other.

3. Free advertising for your group - (in this case CC).

4. If you want your CC friends to be able to find you.

5. It's a whole lotta fun!!

When I see the various door signs it makes me smile knowing how much work went into the job to personalise them and how much joy they bring to your family, friends, passers by.

But that's just my opinion :D

Glad I found this thread. It has been very useful as I plan to visit Tabyana Beach for snorkelling in December.

As LuvSnorkeling said, be careful of the reef. Most live reef will be very pretty colours and shapes; the broken off grey/brown stuff has been destroyed.

Hi, I won't give up - thanks for that advise!!! I'm got my eyes wide open and keep checking this site and the special site to see if it comes up again. Might even give them a call tomorrow and see if they have a waiting list. You are right, closer to the date, they might release some more. Something will turn up and it will all work out!!

At least sign up for some newsletters to get the deals early.

I'm also in IT and had to laugh when I saw the photo on the Carousel Zebra. I decided ages ago that the first thing I am going to do on boarding is take a ride on that Zebra!

A 28 Degrees card (formerly Wizard Advantage card) is great. It's a Mastercard credit card and incurs no charges.

Yes Sandy, I was charged this fee a couple of times and am now using this card for onboard purchases to avoid it altogether.

When I queried the charges with Coles Source Mastercard, they said that "as a gesture of good will" they would refund the charge :confused: :rolleyes:
