  1. Their budget is $150-225. As far as dinner, they would be happy with something as simple as a burger.

Thank you for all your information. I will share this with them and find out which location (right by LGA or in the Flushing neighborhood).

  2. We are trying to decide the best/easiest access hotel for my elderly parents. They are flying into LGA 10/3 and cruising the next day out of Brooklyn. We are now thinking that they should stay near LGA because their flight arrives around 8pm. This way they can get to hotel and relax and then cab it to Brooklyn the next day. They are looking for a hotel with a restaurant and walking distance (if possible) to a liquor store (cheap wine) and also a CVS/Walgreens type store. Any suggestions are welcome.

  3. Must be a common thing with this sofa's, we saw that on a couple of our cruises on other ships.

We were in E720 on 7/26/14 and our son slept on the sofa sleeper. It also had the wooden block fix,as without it the feet of the bed would rise up when laying down. The mattress was horrible.

  4. We are just off the Divina and I can let you know for sure that you can get plain pasta for lunch or dinner in the dining room. Our son had plain pasta for dinner each night with marinara sauce on the side (in a separate dish). There are good pastries in the morning that have chocolate in them and the fries are very good.

  5. In all of our cruises this one had the rudest staff at reception, and whenever we went to reception, they always argued with us, and when we asked for a manager, we were told we could not talk to him. So in other words, we couldn't talk to the hotel manager.

  6. Hello All,

We got off divina yesterday and had the issue in the dining room of having to argue with the maiter'ed for a table, and then had to argue to just get a menu, or a drink with the waiter. Then on the second to last day during breakfast, the two maiter'eds were screaming at each other in the middle of the dining room. Personally I find this to be extremely rude, and unprofessional and not Italian hospitality.

  7. We just got off of divina yesterday and we had that exact cabin. We found the cabin to be very nice and boutique hotel style. The location was very central, and very convienant. We had considerable noise from above us in the main pool area from people walking and people moving chairs all through the night. There is a large overhang, not giving a view of the sky at night. The room was directly across from some equipment rooms that made no noise. The main issue that we had was due to noisy neighbors, and we could hear every argument and party that they had in their rooms or in the hallway. Overall if you want a quiet room, I would try to go to another deck, but overall the room was clean and in good condition.

  8. they don't have to deal with situation at all it's not MSC problem .deal with port customs.

Well if you were there, you would have a different feeling but from what I experienced, there was no answer from anybody, ship or port authority. I am not saying that you can't have your own opinion, but I was there and you were not.

  9. This is MSC fault due to the horrible way they are dealing with the situation there has been absolutely no communication from the ship. Now there are some people with medical problems so paramedics are now here.

  10. Hello all,

They are saying that there was an gas leak in the terminal, so they pushed everyone to the other terminal in Miami so then waited there for a half hour until they moved us back to the outside of the normal terminal, after waiting outside for another half hour, they started letting us in the terminal. We are currently in the terminal and checked in but people are still getting off the ship at 2:30pm! Also the terminal is at capacity so they are making people stand outside. The worst part of this whole thing was there was no information at all given, and I feel MSC lost customers before they even got on board. Also, we needed a wheelchair for boarding and because MSC was of no help, we had to find one ourselves.

  11. Hello,

We will be on the Divina in a few weeks and my father will be using a mobility scooter. Does anyone have any experience with tendering using a mobility scooter? Will he be able to go into Grand Cayman?

    Thank you

  12. Hello All,

When I was watching Caribbean Princess pull out of port everglades today, I noticed that there seemed to be a tug boat pushing her bow even though they were doing work on the thrusters all day, and have been doing work for the past few weeks it has seemed. Then when CB was done with the tug boat, she radioed thanking the tug for coming out so quickly to assist in the maneuver. I am starting to reconsider booking her for my upcoming cruise, so hopefully she will be fixed soon!

  13. Can you order more than one set of drink vouchers per person? I went into my reservation and I know I can order one set per person, but we thought we might like an extra 15 vouchers between the two of us to use. It would work out much cheaper than buying the all you can drink deal.

  14. 3000 for what? I'm a little confused on this comment. I've read some comments about Liquid and understand it's a new concept show, but what's this menu you are referring to?

    Thanks

Liquid is a nightclub they set up one evening in the solarium. They have the Miami DJ providing the music and there are "mermaids" in the pool and one of the acrobatic dancers performing as well. The menu they have is for drinks only. there are a mixed drinks on their menu for $12 and then the rest of the menu lists only full bottles of very expensive liquor. Of course, you can order whatever you like, but they do have this special menu for this evening of Modern Luxury. $3000 was for a bottle of Louis 13th Cognac.

  15. Hello,

When we get back we will try and scan in the menu that was placed in our room for Canyon Ranch. We have not seen the person that has been asked about so sorry about that. Also, the other night they had liquid and it got many different people involved, and there were many different people from the entertainment staff there. The menu that they had on the table for liquid had very high prices, with the highest being 3000 plus gratuity. The comment cards have gone electronic, and the staff are all pushing it very hard as usual. Even the captain has asked everyone to do the survey that will be sent to the emails. The music levels have not been too high, and the loudest was Miami DJ, but that was late at night in the Martini Bar. There is a nice variety of music that should suit many different tastes.

  16. I apologize if this has already been answered, but I haven't been able to find an exact answer. The "Classic Non-Alcoholic Package" says it includes fresh squeezed and bottled juices, but the "Premium Non-Alcoholic Package" does not say they are included. Is that really the case? If we wanted both fresh squeezed and bottled juices, and the frozen non-alcoholic drinks included in the package, are we out of luck, without paying for one or the other individually?

My son has the classic non alcoholic package and has no problem getting bottled water and virgin dacquiris.
