For the record, my camera had no filters attached and there was no post-processing of these images. This is how they came out. Aperture and shutter speed were set by the camera using its own built-in "sunset" setting. All I did was lean on the rail, take a deep breath and try to hold it steady. A pro could could probably find a zillion things wrong with these shots but I like 'em.

 

Room service sandwiches were excellent again and we enjoyed sitting on our balcony well into the evening.

 

 

Next - Last Day at Sea

Great value, pretty little place and they treated us awesome! We are going back there again next week after trying Money Bar last January and Nachi Cocom in August. We weren't able to snorkel at Money Bar last January because it was too chilly, but the place was nice enough, but so small and RIGHT ON THE STREET and SO CLOSE to the ship. It was a completely different atmosphere than Playa Uvas and Nachi. It may have AWESOME snorkeling....I just didn't get to experience it. We sat on some chairs, had some food that wasn't particularly memorable and just tried to stay warm enough. :(

I am once again inspired by you and Tracy! We have been more "observers" in the past on cruises.....still have alot of fun, but not so much what you would call "participators." My cousin and I have already decided we are going to be "those people" on the next cruise and really try to participate in EVERYTHING! Seeing your pics just inspired me even more! Can't wait!

Congrats and best wished to Tracy in her new endeavor! I, too, had a late career change. After nearly 18 years as a flight attendant, I am now the director of the children's ministry at one of my church's campuses. I also never looked back....the airline industry was getting tough. I took down Tracy's address and plan to send her a card, too.

Can't wait to see more and I will once again hate it when your review is over! You AND your son should smile more!! ;) You're such handsome fellows and you hide it behind the seriousness! I have a handsome husband and 3 handsome sons and there's nothing better than seeing handsome men smiling! :)

Can't say that I've ever heard anything about him one way or another..... He's our CD in January on the Elation...

And that balcony is AWESOME! :D It looks like it's deeper than the balconies I've seen, too! Wowza! I wannaother balcony!!!! :( Got a porthole booked in January---only on the cruise because of the AWESOME price, so didn't want to push it. It's OV or suite on the Elation that we're sailing, so I'm just taking my OV porthole inside cabin for the price of a NO-WINDOW-AT-ALL inside cabin. Best deal going at $229 for a 5-day!

Great comments, great pics and the smilies are the cutest ever! They add so much and made me chuckle several times! You need to cruise all the time so you can do tons of reviews! ;) Sound like a plan? :p

I would love to do Mexican Riviera! Being a few hours drive to Mobile and New Orleans, I'm kinda stuck with wherever they have cruises to. My husband is not a HUGE fan of cruising so I can't imagine him being willing to pay to fly somewhere to cruise. :( Your review makes me want to go even more, though.

Anyway, great job and so entertaining! I was sad it ended!

Just curious about karaoke....is Tracy a good singer or does she just like to sing? Or both? I'm a fairly outgoing person, and I'm a decent singer (can carry a tune and I don't sound terrible), but I've never had the nerve to get up there and do that in front of strangers! I even sang a solo in my senior play (Grease!), but somehow, karaoke is different. It looks fun, but I don't know....just can't imagine! :) Your family really seems to enjoy it. Do you ever get up there and sing?

Getting so anxious now that the proposal is drawing near..... My hubby's proposal was similar to yours, so it renews my hope that MAYBE there's a chance for some little sliver of romance to develop in this man as he ages....lol! :p

Have been LOVING this review! What a dream trip!

My extended family has a tradition of doing group photos twice, one time with smiles and AT LEAST once with funny faces. Apparently my mom missed the cue as she is the complete opposite of everyone in the picture! I found both of them funny....either we're all looking like crazies and she's just smiling away or WE all look normal and she looks like she was the result of inbreeding! :D And the third is just another example of the goofy face pics. Yes, we have our issues.....lol!:p
