Buttergate.🤣 That's good.  Haven't heard that before so giving you credit for it.  Nice one.:classic_biggrin:

Yeah, Carnival needs to put a little rice in each of the salt shakers like we do here on the humid Eastern Shore.  That would solve the problem.  And it is super cheap!  Of course, in order to maintain efficacy the rice needs to be changed out for fresh rice every few months on land, so probably every few weeks at sea...  so not likely to be implemented.

We have seen rice in the salt shakers on the Breeze.  It still doesn't work with the crock type salt shakers.  Freedom had the glass salt shakers and they worked fine with no rice.

  2. I am excited about using this perk.  Just hope we can someday.  We hit our 25 Milestone last cruise, May.  Plan on using that someday on a cruise also..  Looks nice seeing Diamond on our booking summary!

Two separate upgrades. We used them on 14 and 15 day cruises to go from o/v to balcony.

OBc has nothing to do with this perk

Yeah!!  We were thinking we should have 2 since we were both turning diamond.

  4. One of the perks of Diamond that I have read is a one-time cabin upgrade.  Would that be like from an OV to a Balcony?  Just curious.  I know some upgrades are like 8A to 8B, I guess that would be within the same category?  Just need a little explanation of this.  Thanks!!

I'm not really concerned about price. In fact, I've found by booking quite early I usually get the best price and great cabin availability.  What I'm driving at is this time next year there might be a fun "Dancing of the Ships" sailing that becomes available that wasn't even thought of by Carnival at this point.  I could cancel and rebook a new cruise, but DH gets annoyed by this.  "Book a cruise and keep it.  Quit changing your mind!" says he.

Haha... I have heard this many times before as I do change cruises...We are on our 5th cabin for one cruise.
