You can HSC any day and every day via room service

On the second week of a B2B on the Freedom. Last week, no signing out of towels and no charges. This week- new Hotel Director- you must sign out your towels with your sea pass and the $25.00 charge is back.
I'm glad it's back! it really cuts down on the chair hogs when they risk being charged $25 for a towel they leave out on an empty chair all day long.

We're taking Rhapsody of Seas to Alaska this August and still need to book roundtrip transfers for our group of seven (5 adults + 2 kiddos). I was told Shuttle Express is good cost effective option and is better than taking the RCI coach, which costs more and holds a LOT more people? Can anyone confirm this info or offer any other suggestions?
Try this company. Flat rate taxi service.. from airport to pier will be about $29 pp (based on 1 person).. if you contact them they may have lower rates for your group size. I live in Seattle and use them all the time.. very reliable.. and excellent communication from the driver.. they text you when they're about 1 mile away with your taxi number and drivers name.

Thanks!! I am waiting on the Navigator schedule.
Any idea when the Quantum Summer and Fall will be out?
Nothing yet on QN Summer/Fall. If I get any info I'll be sure to post it here.

LoyaltoRCCL, Thanks for the info. Now if I could just find out about both NOS and LOS's repos!
I would expect you should see the repos show up at the same time the new caribbean itins are loaded.
It seems this year RCCL didn't break out the repositioning cruises with their own deployment dates.

Liberty's Summer Caribbean from Galveston AND Navigator's Summer Caribbean from San Juan will both be opened for sale on March 19th.

How about the size of the balcony? We'll be in an accessible room, so the size of the room should not be an issue.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk, please excuse all the typos.
Not much difference in the actual balcony size. The main difference with these cabins is they are significantly smaller than the original balcony cabins on Deck 7. The Deck 6 balcony cabins are only the size of an Oceanview (which is what they were originally). Also, there is hardly any storage in these cabins. The desk is nothing more than a VERY small counter.. no fridge, no cabinets around the desk/vanity. There are only 3 small drawers in the desk/vanity and non in either nightstand. Also they removed the loveseat and replaced it with a small chair and very small coffee table.

RCCL is back online.. hurry before they crash again.
-
It's because Royals entire computer system is down. Even some of their phone lines are not working. They're expecting it to be fixed by 1pm EST.
-
Vision was great before the recent refurb. and can only be better now. I find RCCL in general much better than Princess.. especially the service and ship design.
-
Just remember that nowadays you usually have to choose between your C & A balcony discounts and any specials. I am sure the free kid price would only be for 3rd and 4th in a cabin not for a full fare.
And the kids sail free will not be on every sailing and will be tightly capacity controlled. You'll most likely find it only in the off-season and not on to destinations like Alaska and Europe.

Only Anthem's Europe itins will be open for C&A advance reservations tomorrow. If you're interested in the Caribbean itins, then you'll need to wait a few more weeks for those to go on sale to C&A Members.

Never charged a corkage fee in either the MDR or Specialty restaurants.
Only 1 time, on the Radiance the Manager of the Samba Grill tried to charge us the fee, but after I told him we would not be signing for any corkage since the wine was purchased from the cruise line, he let it go.

Can we all assume that ON will still sail from Cape Liberty, NJ for the Summer 2015 if you can say? Thank you.
Yes,, QN will be in NJ for a while..

Any clues yet on the itin for Serenade's repo from NOLA to Boston next year before the TA?
Itins won't be available until each date opens for sale.. sorry.
If I get any itin details, I'll be sure to post them (provided RCCL tells me not to)
-
You mean Anthem?
I'm talking about Quantum Summer '15, which has apparently fallen off the face of the earth.
No, that post referred to QN.. but no listing for Summer '15 on the info I was given.
-
what happened to New Orleans? No ship??
No.. I think with them replacing NV with the larger LB, they assume that those in NOLA can still drive to Galveston to fill the larger ship.
-
There is a Panama Canal cruise on the Jewell from San Juan to San Diego on May 2 and Los Angeles to San Juan Oct. 10. We are all waiting for Quantum. No clue on when that will be released.
Quantum will be opening the week of 3/17 per the original schedule.
-
Thanks for the list...do you know if the NOS replacing the AOS in San Juan, will be doing similar / exact same itineraries as AOS was doing? Also, any idea on the Anthem's itinerary when in PE? Thanks again for posting....
Big Al
No actual itins have been announced, but I would assume they would be the same. As for Anthem's Caribbean.. general sales will be opening the week of 3/17 per the original schedule.

No Oasis in PC!!:(
Is that deployment flyer that was posted no longer accurate for the general release dates? The one that has winder Caribbean the week of March 17th?
Winter Carib is still opening the week of 3/17 as initially posted.

Great! Thank you so much!!
-RCI is returning to Dubai again??
-You have listed 4 ships for Australia & Hawaii - which ship will do Hawaii, which one Australia?
-LEGEND returns to Dubai - will she do repositionings via Europe and Suez?
-INDEPENDENCE sails the 4-5 night cruises from FL, which LIBERTY currently does?
-Any information about QUANTUM for summer?
-What about the Panama Canal cruises which LEGEND offers in 2014 and early 2015? Will SERENADE do them in late 2015 and 2016??
Thanks for help!! :)
Apparently they are returning to Dubai.. but with Splendour not Legend.
Not itin details have been released except for those that are already open for sale.
Indy seems to be replacing Liberty on the short cruises.. while Liberty moves to Galveston to replace Navigator.
No further details for Quantum Summer yet.
No further info on the Canal cruises yet.. but Serenade will be replacing Legend so it's possible.

I have the full deployment schedule for 2015-16 that lists each ship/itinerary and when they'll be open for sale. Unfortunately RCCL does not want the opening dates made public, so I can't help there but to clear up all the speculation on which ship will be where.. here you go:
EUROPE-- RH, SP, AD, BR, SR, VI, AN
Are any of the ships doing a cruise around the British Isles? RC had the Vision doing British Isles cruise out of Copenhagen through 2013, if I remember correctly, but there is nothing for 2014.
I
I didn't see any British Isles itins for sailings from the UK ports, but not all of the actual itin details have been released. Once Europe deployment opens for sale they will release the actual itin info.
-
Thanks for sharing the details of the deployment. What about summer 2015 Quantum schedule? If she is scheduled for Bermuda in the Fall, I guess that means they have cleared the Bermuda docking issue?
Sorry, the itin details won't be released until the deployment opens for sale.
-
Thanks for sharing the deployment list earlier - this is most helpful, :D

Thanks.. I'm glad you found it helpful. I wish I could share the dates, but I know there was a lot of talk and speculation on which ships would be where... so at least you have this piece of the puzzle. :)
Pullmantur vs Royal Caribbean vs Celebrity
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
Pullmantur caters to the Spanish Market, therefore Spanish will be the language onboard, all of the activities, food etc will be for the Spanish market and prices will be in EURO rather than US $ so it will be more expensive. Also, these are RCCL's old ships (Sovereign, Monarch and Empress) so the cabins will be SMALL and the ship amenities will be less than what's offered on RCCL's newer fleet.
