  1. The ship could also be late, we just got off the Pride on the 13th and we were over 1 1/2 hours late, I know we sailed out of Tampa but it could happen at any port. We weren't doing a side by side thankfully.

Good suggestion to have some extra kits. I watched a person on YouTube that I follow & he had the kit too close to the edge of the table & he accidentally knocked the kit off of the table so he had to start all over again.

    Tom😀

After watching that video we decided to order 2 more test and it was also the reason that I wouldn't get up for the 15 minute wait, I was afraid that I would knock my test in the floor but as others have stated it was easy. But do watch several videos before starting.

UGH! Sorry that was your experience! We were on the Pride in October and really enjoyed Frankie.  We had an awful debarkation out of Mobile once, did not get off the ship until 11 we felt like hostages!

Frankie wasn't our cruise director, ours was Alexis he was terrible.

  4. My opinion of the Sailabration cruise on the Pride. It didn't live up to the hype, having said that we had a great cruise. The crew was great and very friendly and did a great job. The cruise director was the worst that we have ever sailed with and this was our 23rd cruise, the debarkation was a disaster for self assist. The food was good but sometimes not warm enough in the main dining room. The deli was subpar. The entertainers in the main lounge were hit or miss, some were good some not so good. We enjoyed listening to Rick and Ruby in the lobby, if you are on a cruise with them be sure to go listen to them. It was good to be cruising again after missing the last 2 years, we still love Carnival.

Disappointing. We were on the Vista and there really was not much difference between a normal cruise. The ship meet up was OK. Neat to see all the ships together, but you could barely hear any horns. They burned a logo into the buns at guys,  had a few banners hanging, and the special menu was not all that special. Definitely did not live up to the hype.

What they said, we were on the Pride.

I have no pertinent comment but just the topic title made me laugh.  Is it a gun that shoots massages?  Is it a heavy thumper type hand-held massage device.  Is it a "personal massage devise"?   I mean no offense but wanted to thank you for making me laugh as I envision my own type of "massage gun".  😄

More seriously, assuming it is a massage device that plugs in, I would assume it would be fine depending on the electrical requirements.  Fans and similar electric devices are okay but regardless of what others experience might have been, if it is something you really need to take on board I suggest you contact Carnival ahead of time and get clarification (in writing) so you will have no problems.  Whether they classify it was a medical device or whatever.

That is the name of it, glad I could make you laugh and no it's not a "personal massage devise"

My first cruise was a short Sensation in 2008. DH had a few ahead of me then. To date:  199 Carnival cruises for 1083 days (Diamond). Also, on Royal, 412 days at sea. (D+)

So, next up is #200, eventually. 😀

WOW!!!! I think we may have been on a couple of cruises at the same time.

I am like you, the wife talked me into the trying to pack in advance and I had to wait to pack pants (wore them work each day), come to the night before, we had a large group and some came to our house.  We ended up putting their kids down in all the bedrooms and staying up and pre cruise drinking till time to leave.  Fast forward to getting on the ship, we were in coins suite and had people over for cocktails after embark.  bags come and I go in to unpack....no pants.

Of course your wife didn't say anything....did she?😄

  9. We had a cruise scheduled on November 7th on the Carnival Breeze. The cruise was canceled by Carnival. Given the current situation going on now in the world, we are glad they did. Don't know if we will ever book another cruise,  we started cruising in 2002 and had not missed a year going on a cruise until this year.  We feel blessed for the all the places we have seen and the amazing excursions we have been on.
