I went to RCL website there are no red alerts regarding any changes but on Cruise Critic news it shows a couple.

Monday we go on the Enchantment. According to the map it looks like our itinerary is going to change from Western maybe to Eastern. Im good with that just get me on the ship. Last year I was on the Independence and Joaquin was in full force. We just went more south and it was smooth sailing the whole way. Its was great. People on land were worried and showed pictures how calm it was.

As long as I can get on the ship before hand, Im good.

Joe (my boyfriend) has a friend who does the port taxes on ships. Don't know details but this could be a good connection. We are looking into him getting us a deal on the HOTS, New Years Dec 2017 or something on the ship next year.

This new years we are set up for Carnival since Joe is building too many fast food places this year and Carnival is doing 3 dayer. Next year more building but by Dec 2017 he should be good so we can do another 7 dayer.

Cross you fingers on the HOTS deal for us.

He has only cruise once a long time ago. Im hoping to convert him to being a cruise a holic like the rest of us. Ha Ha

We have a great time together the best. So if we move in together does he get become my significant other in Crown and Anchor eyes? Then can I add to my status after the cruise...... if I let him? ha ha

I emailed the Concierge Nadia verify that my son who is Diamond only does not get the BOGO. She said he does not.

Does anyone know if the Suite cabins get a BOGO?

We are in a Grand Suite. Im wondering if I set up mine with my daughter in law and my boyfriend with my son. Hmmmm:cool:

I remember being a Diamond getting the BOGO dinner. I never thought that was based on a tier. Well, so it goes.

Nadia said to email her one week before the cruise so she can set up my reservation. If Im the only BOGO maybe Ill decide when I get on the ship and not to bother Nadia.

I was just emailed by Nadia Concierge Enchantment of the seas that Chops does do BOGO on the 1st day but for Diamond Plus and Platinum only.

Has it always been Diamond Plus up? I don't remember that.

I was trying to get reservation for the first day without doing the upfront and return thing by going through the Concierge. Im Diamond Plus but my son and his wife are Diamond. So no BOGO for them.

Since you never see this advertised, maybe each ship has their own plans?

Anyone know the answer?

I met you two on the Independence in September, Concierge Lounge with our buddy Raj. I think Raj went to the Anthem. He is a great Concierge.

I love your story of how you two met. Great story. Since then I now have a boyfriend. His name is Joe and he opens fast food places. He owns various Subways, Blaze Pizza and 5 Guys Burgers. We have a great time together.

We are going on the Enchantment the first week of Oct with my son and daughter in law. No grandkids this time. ha ha We have grand suite, his 2nd cruise in his life and Im hoping to convert him quick to a cruiseaholic.

I hope to see both of you again in on a cruise. Most likely in the Concierge Lounge or whatever they are going to name it now.

Wow thanks for the cruise tags from Amazon.

I have the old cruise critic ones and I tape the top so the tag doesn't fall out and it attaches with stretch rubber. The rubber is starting to break down.

I met both of you a long time ago on the Mariner of the Seas going out of LA.

We were at our Muster Drill and luckily at a table inside not standing outside with the life vest on. Ha Ha

Thank goodness we don't have to put on life vest anymore.

Interesting cruise, my late hubby and I put in a glowing comment on two ladies working in the casino on another cruise. They were now on the Mariner cruise. They recognized us and told us their review was read in a class as an example and were given bonuses. Then the ladies told fellow employees we were on the ship. Crew was coming up to us all the time asking our names and doing crazy stuff to please us. Made it interesting a really fun.

Ill never forget it.

I was reviewing my Crown and Anchor points and I had some questions.

Im sailing on a 4 day with a Grand Suite do I still get double points even if its 4 days?

Then I was reading something about receiving extra points if you book the Cruisetours. Is that so and if so what is the point equivalent?

We get out the ship about 8:00am and our flights is about 7:00pm on a Friday.

We would like to find a hotel for the day in Miami. To take a nap, hangout by the pool get some lunch then go to the airport. So we want to check in about 9:00am or so and leave about 5:00pm. I having a hard time finding a hotel.

The airport has a hotel in it but its mostly geared to sleep for business people.

Let me know if you have been able to check in somewhere early for the day.

Last year on the Indy I bought the internet package and it was the worst internet in the world. I had to be in the hot spots and it would kick me out all the time and a pain to get back on. I only used a few times in the morning to connect with any work issues.

Anybody know how the new internet compares to the old. I love day before when everyone is trying to check in on flights etc and the internet goes down or clogged. Ha Ha

Id love to know. I did buy the package before my cruise this time for the 30% off. I just want to prepare myself if its just as bad. My boyfriend coming has various franchises he is running and I want us to be able to co ordinate if needed ahead of time.

Going on a cruise in a couple of months with my 8 year old grandson.

I bought him the coke card. Does he need to carry at kid event area if they offer getting cokes? It seems like they wouldn't just in case others kids don't have coke cards. I know the teens do but that's another story.

Every cruise on my dashboard says I can get in the online check in after 90 days prior cruise. Is there a new policy or issue going on?

Years ago I married a chef that worked on the ships. We went on a cruise and my husband knew Robert Taggart. So we hung out with him when able.

He is a great fan of ice hockey and use to play until he kept getting hurt badly and his mother was getting upset. Went to a few parties in his cabin and had drinks with the officers a couple of times. He was very personable and we really enjoyed his company. I don't know if any of you know this but he started the Meet n Mingles for Cruise Critic guest. We should all tell him a big thank you!

What do you think about how the new discounts show?

I dont like when you try a fake booking to see the whole price, it just shows discount, not what the discount is for.

It could be a sale, age, region or C & A. Think they should show what type of discount it is so we dont waste the agents time by calling to find out.

Id like to know if my price changes and what the discount is just incase I want that price or maybe it doesnt make sense.

What are your thought?

What I dislike is the cheap price they show for inside cabin then you go in and it's not that price at all. I asked RCCL they say that one sold out. Well they can update those prices if they wanted to but it draws people in.

I'm going on the Vision 9/20/14 and got the email telling me they will have the drink vouchers on my card. I printed the email out just in case there are any issues on the ship.

Apparently, RCI is cutting back on more than amenities...they've cut back on IT people, too! Their website sucks. I think the government must have designed it!

Where are they when we need them? We need them at my work soooo much.

It doesn't pay to have cheap technology.

Just in case you might like... My son and his wife on their honeymoon had a Central Park balcony and they said it was very romantic. They can hear the string musicians playing in the evening. They said it was wonderful. For 20 year olds to like, it must have been good.
