  1. Looking at all of the E1, 2, 2, 4 cabins, as Sandy said, it looks like location is the big difference (upper decks and mid-ship are often assigned higher classes and prices). These E cabins are all on decks 6, 7, 8 and 9.

It looks like all of the E cabins on deck 9 are all E1's, even the 2 listed as obstructed in the deck plans (only because the cabin next to it protrudes, blocking the view in that direction).

On deck 8 the E1's are mid-ship and the E2's are forward and aft so likely the only difference is the preferred mid-ship location. The 2 on either side of the Magic Carpet are E4's, which makes sense because of probable intermittent obstruction issues.

On deck 7, E1's are right next to the mid-ship elevators, the E2's a little more forward, E3's aft and further forward and E4's again are on either side of the Magic Carpet.

On deck 6, there are mostly E4's (maybe there will be some obstruction of the views because of lifeboats, especially downward?). There are a few E3's mid-ship, except again, the 4 around the Magic Carpet are E4's.

This is a link to deck plans that list the partially obstructed balconies - if you look on page 3, you will see the numbers of these cabins listed in light blue (deck 12's list is on page 2). Many of them are the 4 cabins on each deck around the Magic Carpet track and the rest seem to be due to the different elevations of the cabins, leaving some obstruction of the view to one side due to the cabin next door being the first to project outward.

Except for the Magic Carpet E cabins (2 on each side of the MC tracks on decks 6,7 and 8), the E cabins on the partial obstruction list didn't seem to be assigned a lower E class. They seem to be the same as the surrounding E cabins.

It looks like, when choosing an E cabin, people should look at the locations (and for obstructions) and decide if it is worth it to pay more to be mid-ship or on a higher deck. It appears that the balconies and cabin sizes will be similar, but we won't really know until reports start filtering back in December. :D

Thanks so much for the detailed and helpful advice!

  2. If I have the classic package and order a Stella beer, how much would I have to pay extra?

    Is Stella available on draft?

Are there any sparkling wines on Classic menu?

If I get classic because of a perk, can I pay extra to upgrade to premium?

    Thanks for your advice.

  3. The Enclave is available of the Regal the and Royal. Go there soon after boarding to book a pass for the week. It is a lovely relaxing area that does sell out its passes.

  4. I lucked out even though my fare went up $50 pp and lost my $200 OBC. Free gratuities for a 33 day cruise is $825 and the $100 beverage card certainly worked out for me. I did have give an additional $1150 deposit though. I had booked when there was a special $300 pp deposit.

If you don't mind me asking, did your new booking confirmation show the credit for the free gratuities? Mine only show the OBC and beverage cards.
