  1. I wouldn't pay too much attention to this schedule... Jase Apps was supposed to be CD on our Pride sailing in August but announced on his FB page that he's moving to a new ship after his Vaca rather than returning to Pride. Kevin Donohue is currently 'scheduled' to be on Pride through August but anything can happen.

  2. That was stated earlier this year... Pride was supposed to get the new menus beginning in Aug but it was just announced that only 2 additional ships will be getting American Table and Pride isn't one of them 😞

  3. Direct quote from John Healds face book page:

".... This year we will now add the menus to just two more ships. The Carnival Magic starts on 07/19/15 and Carnival Triumph on 08/10/15.

    cheers"

I'm certain that I read earlier that Pride was getting American Table on Aug 9... One sailing before ours! I was looking forward to it. 😣

  4. Same here. I need to know how.

    Casino deals? Please school me.

Basically, you spend a lot of money in the onboard casino and Carnival "rewards" you with offers so that you'll come back and make another donation to the casino.

If you're a gambler anyway, this is a great way to go. I'm not much of a gambler so spending thousands in the casino to get a deal on a cabin is not my idea of a deal.

  5. How do you guys find these ridiculously cheap deals? Seems like everybody beat the guy who posted above him.

All the 7 nite balconies I find are about $800 ++++ PP

I think that prices will vary widely across seasons, ships and special VIPF rates and sales. Plus, those casino deals are spectacular because the assumption is that they will spend the difference in the casino onboard (and often do).

  6. Who cares..... people actually watch tv while they are on a cruise.... mine might be on 30 min a day while I am getting ready for the day or changing for dinner... to many other things to do on a cruise to be sitting inside a small cabin watching tv

Thanks for not answering the question I asked but instead being concerned with what others are doing with their own vacation time.

Why is it that people feel the need to reply to topics when they do not have answers to the questions asked, or if the disagree with the OP, or in this case, just feel the need to judge and tell others how they should feel or spend their time on vacation. Please don't waste your time or mine with this type of response in the future. Thanks.

  7. to the poster who asked if people sit and stare at empty chairs for 30 min (or however long).. the answer is simple...

I've walked around and around and around looking for chairs and eventually loop the same areas multiple times looking for a place to sit. When you've done this for OVER 30 minutes and see the same unoccupied chairs being saved with a single item, THAT'S how you know.

I find it incredibly rude when people to get up at sunrise and save loungers poolside only to go back to bed/brunch/whatever and not bother taking "their" seat until late afternoon. Some of us could have used that lounger all morning and it would have been available for you by the time you arrived.
