I am trying to book my excursions for May 1st 2025, it shows that due to restrictions they are not available.  How come ?

North Cape : we were very happy with Blue Puffin excursions

We took a 33 days cruise in July on the Riviera and it was an outstanding cruise, everything was perfect !  We have been on 38 cruises and I think it was my favorite ship so far, the food was excellent  you will love it !

On the Vista in June it was awful, 2 hours wait, on the Riviera in July not a problem, well handled !

Rented a car and went to Mont St Michel on our own and also stopped in Honfleur !

What about Reykjavik ?

We were just on the Vista above the theater, we went to the shows 9:30-10:30 and never heard any noise in our cabin .

Alot of traffic and constyruction in Miami ( February) !!

Can we bring wine or liquor on board to drink in our stateroom?

A few years back we took a day pass at TiKaye resort which included pick-up by speedboat at the pier it does not seem to exist any more ???

Just did this tour on November 2022, it was the highlight of our cruise.  Chrystelle is very professional and she aims to entertain and to educate us at the same time.  I would strongly recommend her pile ou face tour !

We have cruised on Viking and Ama and we like both equally.  We do not like the huge penalties when you cancel Viking, their deposit policies are really over the top.  On Viking we liked the Aquavit Terrace where you have a buffet if you want to eat outside.  On Ama we love their pool and they have more choices of excursions at each place.  So we go with who offers the best itinerary at the time we want to travel.

I need suggestions for a nice hotel where we can leave our car foe 10 days in January, any suggestions ?

We have used both lines and enjoyed them equally, they are different but the same..... More activities on board Viking but more excursion choices and bikes on AMA.  You cant go wrong with either.

We also did a few active hikes but the level was very reasonable ( we are 65 plus) and the tempo was ajusted for the slower folks.

We are going with ama in August and will arrive 2 days before the pre-tour in Hanoi, then will join the group.  We are canadians, do we need visas for Vietnam and Cambodia ?  Can we get them upon arrival ?

We went 2 years ago and Wellington is great on your own but take the cable car early, it gets hot quickly and then walk dowb and visit the museum on the shore ( Te papa).  In Dunedin you have to take the ship's shuttle in town, 10 km and dangerous walk, nice stores and book the train to the gorges in advance. Akaroa , we took a viator tour to Christchurch, was not interesting. Taraunga, we walked to the mountain and climbed it, wonderful.  In Bay of Islands we visited the treaty grounds then went by free shuttle to the little town of Pahia.

So all easy except Dunedin, shuttle essential.
