I figured it would be funny to hear what people "don't like" about cruising.

 

 

 

I think everyone will agree with me when I say that I HATE getting off the ship!!!

 

I also hate the amount of laundry I have to do when we get back! lol!

 

 

However.......the best thing we do is always book our next cruise while we are on one...that way, when we get back, we already have another one to look forward too! :D

 

 

 

Soooo.....what do you hate about cruises?????

The hassle of air transport when cruising in Europe or Asia

Hi! The Explorer trip didn't happen...we booked the Princess Star instead. It is the ship that was delayed in Valpariso by the earthquake in Chile, but it is back on schedule and we are going to pick it up in Rio.

 

Did you ever write a review of the Star?

I usually don't visit the Hal boards, but a good friend who knows I follow your reviews sent me this link:) I didn't realize HAL could be so much fun! What sailing are you looking at on the Brilliance?

Young men often do extraordinarily stupid things when they want to impress a young woman and you may be somewhat surprised to know that I occasionally fell into that category…and Cherbourg, unfortunately, reminds me of one of those times. I was dating SailorJill (well, she wasn’t actually SailorJill at the time) and wanted to impress her with my continental sophistication, so I took her to see a romantic movie that is often called the most beautiful movie ever made - entitled Umbrellas of Cherbourg starring Catherine Deneuve.

Ok, now you win...I have to rent the movie.

You said your next cruise is on Holland America. Any more RCI cruises planned?

We just got back from the same cruise on the Celebrity Galaxy that you were on and read your review of it. There were so many references and links on that board to the Dream review that I had to read this review.

I thought the Galaxy review was outrageous:D but this one is classic. Thanks!
