May I ask you where you found that wedge sandal?

I am in my 60s and high heels are a mere memory for me ! These sandals may be a good choice for me also.

    TYIA

I ordered these on Amazon.  They were only $37.50 and I have another pair almost like these and they are very, very comfortable!! You would think you're wearing some tennis shoes they are so comfortable!!

  2. Hi Ladies,

I'm in my 50's and just want a comfortable shoe to wear on formal night. Not something that has a high heel and hard to walk in. Something cute but comfortable with a heel". I've been looking on line at shoes but can't find anything I like.  I was wondering what you all thought of wearing a wedge heel with my cocktail dress?  The shoe I'm interested in buy is a basic strappy black sandal.  Advice please...

  3. My husband wears a charcoal colored button up wool vest, a dress shirt and some khaki colored pants with black dress shoes and no tie. I'm wearing a sparkly high low dress with flats. They let us in on formal night wearing that and I'm happy to not have to pack formal attire.

You can carry on as much soda as you want.

I didn't know that? I thought there was a 12 pack limit for each person! Thanks, I'm going to bring a case one board.  Do I have to carry them on or can I give them to the package people? I would rather give them a tip than carry it on. Please advise...thanks

  5. I consider our worst mistake was the packing of formal wear. It takes up valuable space in our luggage which is increasingly more vital with the airlines charging for checked luggage. There are other items that we would get more benefit from on a cruise than formal wear. In our opinion the formal night dinners in the main dining room just aren't worth the hassle. I don't think we are alone in noticing that the trend today is moving away from traditional dining and formal wear.

I totally agree with you on the formal wear.

  6. My husband just had rotator cuff and bicep repair surgery. If you're having the same thing, I can say physical therapy doesn't start until a month after surgery. My husband could have gone on a cruise with the sling. He had no use of his arm for 4 weeks, no lifting the arm and could not hold anything larger than a coffee cup. Ask your doctor, I bet he says yes! Good luck
