Just came across your review today.
1. You are totally adorable and incredibly entertaining. Thank you
2. Dental Floss. I have an obsession/addiction to it. I totally relate to your thankful prayers about it.
3. Shrimp and Grits. Love it! And am willing to pay the $6 for it. Love me some grits.
4. Night time prayers. You inspire me to be thankful for all the things.
I will look for more of your reviews and would be thrilled if our paths crossed one day.
Thanks for the smiles, the laughs, and the good info!
Keep being your fabulous self!

We will be joining you for the Panama Cruise and staying on until October 16th as well. Looking forward to following your review. We will see you soon!

We have always just shown the security people all of our boarding passes. They have allowed us to take all our bottles to our room on Day 1 of Leg 1. I'm willing to let them hold them, but I think it's a bigger hassle for them if they take them. But every time it could be different.

John Heald posted the menu from the Steakhouse on the Conquest today. I saw the wine pairing there. I had not seen that before. I'm very curious about it. Anyone with experience with it want to share their thoughts?

We had him as a CD a few years ago. We really liked him. He was visible, personable, and involved. Not over the top, but very nice, funny, and approachable.

We used Galveston Express from Hobby to the port last time we sailed out of Galveston and have booked it for our upcoming trip in October. We will fly in a day ahead and spend the night in Galveston. Galveston Express will drop us off at the hotel and pick us up at the pier on our return. They drive small-ish vehicles (maybe 15 or so passengers). MUCH cheaper than a $300 Uber! Wowza! Our experience was very positive with them.

My husband and I will be cruising in October. We have Early Dining. Are they seating people with other cruisers not in their "travel group"? Or will be at a table for two since it is just the two of us traveling together? It doesn't really make a difference to me, I'm just curious.

On our B2B in 2018, we took 2 bottles of wine per person and showed them both boarding passes. They let us take them on with us. Not sure if it happens all the time, but we have been able to do that. It's less work for them to just let you bring it on, rather than storing it and giving it to you the last night of the first cruise. At least, that's my opinion. :)

Thanks for sharing!

Hopefully someone will have an answer for us.
Must be working because you don't hear of anyone having trouble getting what they paid for.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed!:D:D:D:D

Thanks for this information!
What about the ships that offer the digital photos? Do they still print out the photos and then will give us digital copies?
We will be on the Conquest in October.

I bought mine today . . . just in case there are more changes before my October cruise.

I have to eat gluten free due to Celiac Disease. Will they make a sandwich with gf bread? Or am I out of luck? I have had a gf sandwich from the deli in the past.

My experience with gf bread on Carnival has been hit or miss. The bread at the deli was good. The bread in the dining room was not good, in my opinion. When I asked for gf pizza, they made me a whole pizza! WAY more than I could eat, it wasn't great and no one would eat it with me. Not sure what the answer is . . . I always give the bread a try, but can easily skip it. I usually get a burger at Guys with no bun. I prefer it that way. I wish I was more helpful, but this has been my experience.

Travel size baby powder. Take it to the beach. It will remove wet sand from your feet.
And a good attitude! ;)

We brought two bottles of wine for each week of our B2B in 2015 (total of 4). We showed boarding passes for each leg of the trip. It took a couple of security people to look at it and decide, but they let us take all 4 bottles to our room. Just be sure you have your documents showing both of your cruises. That was our experience anyway. :)

I would follow a thread on dietary restrictions! I have Celiac Disease and must eat gluten free.

Another thing we like about the B2B . . . one round trip flight for two cruises. We live in Colorado and have to fly to ports so we feel like we are getting two vacations with just one air fare.

We loved the relaxed feeling that we had. If we missed a show, or a meal one week, we could do it the next week. We think the more days on board the better. We have another one scheduled for next year. I highly recommend choosing a ship that you can do two different itineraries and having the same room is really nice too. We were able to request the same dining room staff for the second leg of our B2B. It was nice to have someone that knew us and knew what we liked.
-
Not necessarily. When I did a B2B on the Conquest it took them so long to debark everyone that by the time we got back onboard (after clearing customs) people were already boarding. So we were never on the ship alone.

Same thing happened to us.

What about the Mexican Riviera out of Long Beach, CA? I think it goes to Puerta Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas. You could also do a little California touring before or after the cruise.
-
On on of our cruises they ran out of bananas.
-
We brought 4 bottles and showed our boarding information for both weeks. They looked at it and let us go through.

I am not sure that you can make a 4K cabin completely dark. The curtains will shut out most of the light, but not all of it. They are great rooms. I wish you the best and most of all, I wish you a migraine-free cruise!
Gluten free bread on carnival?

I think the gf bread can be hit or miss. I remember that "yellow stuff", I was NOT a fan. On my last cruise which was on the Panorama, the bread was better. Some meals it was great, some meals it was really dry. I've had such bad luck with the pizza, that I don't try any more.
