  1. I have a kind of subjective question regarding all this. I have Celiac and have had wonderful experiences with all the hostesses helping me select foods that are safe for me to eat. My question is in regard to tipping. Are the hostesses included in our auto tips? I have usually tipped my hostess, but wonder what a "good" tip would be for a 7 day cruise? $20? $35? $50? Just want to get some ideas. I want to tip well, but don't know what would be considered a "good tip"

  2. Not sure of the name of the company, but we used a luggage service after we got off the Conquest in September. We picked up our luggage, went through customs, and then took our luggage to an area outside that was marked clearly. I think it was called Advanced Check In. It was very reasonably priced. We would do it again for sure. Our luggage arrived at the airport at the time we had requested it.

  3. Maybe I'm in the minority here, but we have had good experiences with table mates. We haven't formed any life time friendships, but haven't had to deal with uncomfortable personal questions either. We generally just share what we did that day, what excursions, what activities we participated in. Never had discussions on politics, religion, or money. Our last cruise we didn't really "click" with our table mates, but not to the point that we avoided the MDR. We have always been seated with people close to our age. That's been our experience so far, anyway.

  4. We went on our cruise on the Splendor in 2009. They had several varieties of tea and lots of little goodies. Unfortunately, I am unable to eat food containing gluten, so there wasn't anything for me (that I can remember) and DH wasn't impressed with the food choices. It was nice, quiet, in the dining room, and maybe about 30 people. We probably won't do it again. :(
