How did you Manage to get in?

    We can’t!

It depends when you are flying, I only managed to get in yesterday and we are flying 24 June. Before that I kept getting an error message so it may be too early yet.

As Watsonbeau says, use your Cunard ref and your surname at www jet2.com/cunard

  2. I am flying in June and have managed to get into the Jet2/Cunard booking system and booked our seats yesterday, that's when it came up with the section to pay for luggage which confused me. I was going to ring Cunard but you beat me to it. 🙂

Try looking at the web site and using your Cunard booking number as the reference.

  3. Hi all, we have booked flights through Cunard with Jet 2. Does anyone know if I have to pay for luggage on the flights?

I have booked our seats and there is then a selection to pay for bags but I'm not sure if this should be included. Any help gratefully received.

    Thanks

  4. I recently booked a 10 day cruise for next year and paid for the drinks package.  I noticed on my booking confirmation that it is not  listed as a separate item although there is a sentence further down to say that we have booked the drinks package.  Should I be worried that it is not listed separately on the booking confirmation?

About 4 week ago we flew out from T2 MCR airport our flight was 6am .

We had stayed overnight at a nearby hotel and was at the airport about 3.20am.

Upon arrival we found the Jet2 well marked out and checked our cases in for

our P&O-Jet 2 flight on the manned  desks ,very easy and soon through.

Next was a right turn following the signs to security which was very fast ,

I would say less than ten minutes .We then walked through the shops

where all the booze and smelly's were. We made our way upstairs and got a

early morning cuppa and a sarnie sandwich  . Think the venue was called Apiary?

They brought the food/drinks to your table .

After this we just had a wander about until the gate number came up on the

    departures board.

We had been warned that the flight would be a good ten minute walk down into

the new departure gates ,  our gate was a back track past the back of security

and in this area all there is was a set of WC's and a vending machine , other than

    that just departure gates .

Overall we found it easy but we were on one of the first flights .so no massive crowds ..

    Hope this helps .

That's useful information - thanks.  Glad we have booked mobility assistance if the walk to the gates is that long :)

  6. Hi Norris, serial lurker here ... just caught up. Thanks for yet another great report.

I now need to read your Apex report, I'll be interested to see what you thought, personally, I don't like the design of the ship.  I've also gone off Celebrity due to the huge price increases and decrease in service. We have Cunard and P&O booked this year so will see if we like either of them.

Hope you and Carol (and the cats) are all well.

If you are going on Iona you will definitely be on Freedom Dining, as Iona and Arvia don’t have fixed dining. They are both 100% Freedom dining.

If we order a bottle of wine and don't finish it, can we take it to our room to finish?

The nice thing on Aurora is that in the MDR they will hold your wine until the next night if you have any left over.  Not on Freedom though.

That is interesting, I think we have got Freedom on Iona next year. We don't get through a whole bottle of wine in one night so might have to think about just ordering a large glass each 😞

I have flown with Jet 2 for a couple of weekends away and could check in nearly a month before my flights which meant I could check in outward and inbound flights at the same time.

That's useful information - thanks. Not sure if this will work with the group flights booked through Cunard as it is a separate jet2 log in page but will certainly have a look.

  10. Hi All, we are sailing on QV next June and have just received our flight details which are with Jet2.  I'm OK with this but it says online check in only and I don't want or need internet access.  I don't take an ipad or phone on holiday so my question is, therefore, is there a computer centre or similar where I can access the internet for 1 day (if I pay the daily charge) in order to check in for our return flights?

    Thanks

  11. Hi All

We have just had our flights for next June on QV to Rome/back from Trieste.  It says to contact the flight team to discuss upgrades but I can't find a number for this department.  Also, might want to change it to a different departure airport.  Does anyone know how I contact the flight team or shall I just call the main number?

    Thanks

  12. Hi All, is there a water package on P&O?  I know they do the non-alcoholic and refresh packages but I just want bottled water. I know there are water stations around the ship but the treated water onboard does not agree with me so I tend to buy lots of bottles of water so wondered if they offered any kind of deal.

    Thanks

  13. Kalos - I don't get that pop up box. I think Dermotsgirl may be right. Not a good improve in my view if people using Edge can't access the correct information as lots of computers are auto set to use this browser.  I don't even know how to get a  different browser 😞

Not an improvement in my view.

  14. These answers are not filling me with confidence, I have to say.  We will be  on Iona so hope things work a bit better than Arvia.  I am happy to share a table but would not be able to stand for 45 mins to 1 hour in  a queue for a table.  We like to eat later, say 8-8.30 so it seems that the only way to get a table at that time is to queue?

  15. Hi All, we have just booked Iona for next year. This will be the first time on P&O for us (have done several on Celebrity), and I see that bookings for restaurants etc are done via the app. I prefer not to use technology when I'm on holiday so my question is, do you have to use the app for the main dining room (we have open seating) or can you just turn up?

    Thanks
