  1. I got an email two days ago. Club Royale Signature and Master's level get a complimentary annual stay at select Hard Rock hotels. One player posted that they called, and it is up to 3 nights complimentary stay, must be completed by March 31, 2025. He booked at the Hard Rock Hollywood for before his July cruise. Resort fees are waived, and Signature gets $300 food/spa credit, while Masters gets $600.

    Dear Guest,

We’re reaching out to let you know that, regrettably, we must cancel our February 7th, 2025, Allure of the Seas sailing, as it has been chartered. We understand that this is not an ideal situation, and we’re truly sorry for the impact this has on your vacation plans. The time and effort you took to plan your cruise is important to us, so we’ve put together some alternate options that we hope will work for you and those in your party.

    Option 1: Re-book a recommended 3-Night Bahamas & Perfect Day 2025 itinerary:

Departing from Miami, Florida onboard Allure of the Seas:

    • Departing on January 27th and sailing to:
      • Perfect Day at CocoCay | and Nassau, Bahamas

Departing from Miami, Florida onboard Independence of the Seas:

    • Departing on February 21st or February 28th and sailing to:
      • Perfect Day at CocoCay | and Nassau, Bahamas

Departing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida onboard Liberty of the Seas:

    • Departing on February 7th, February 21st or February 28th and sailing to:
      • Perfect Day at CocoCay | and Nassau, Bahamas

    What you’ll receive:

    • Your original stateroom category price will either be protected at your original cruise fare rate or reduced to the current cruise fare rate (whichever is lower). This excludes taxes, fees, gratuities, and other non-cruise fare items.
      • If your booking was already paid in full and your cruise fare rate decreases, we’ll provide you with a refund for the difference.
    • To sweeten the offer, you’ll receive a credit to spend onboard per stateroom:
      • $50 USD for Interior, Ocean View, and Balcony staterooms | $100 USD for Suites.
      • Plus, an additional $25 USD for each third or more guest to spend onboard.
    • And, you’ll also be reimbursed for non-refundable, pre-purchased transportation change fees incurred (such as a flight, train ticket, or rental car).
      • We’ll cover up to $200 USD per guest for Domestic changes, or up to $400 USD per guest for International changes.
      • Please email your receipts and booking information to RoyalGuestRelations@rccl.com for review and reimbursement.

Option 2: Re-book any other Royal Caribbean International sailing:

    • If you prefer to re-book on another sailing, we’ll waive any non-refundable deposit change fees.
    • Please know, you’ll be responsible for any difference in pricing for your cruise fare, taxes, fees, gratuities, and other non-cruise fare items.
      • If your booking was already paid in full and your cruise fare rate decreases, we’ll provide you with a refund for the difference.
    • To sweeten the offer, you’ll receive a credit to spend onboard per stateroom:

    • A full refund of any paid portion of your cruise fare (including non-refundable deposits) and any pre-paid amenities to the original form of payment.
      • If you used a Future Cruise Credit on this sailing, and you request a refund instead, we’ll refund any NEW funds paid above the certificate amount and we’ll issue a new certificate.
    • Please note, if you choose this option, we will not provide any additional compensation.

Any refunds due will be credited to your original form of payment within 14 business days after your decision. Refund times may vary depending on your financial institution.

I have purchased both...  I think the UDP, when on sale, is the best value.  Odyssey is great since she has a lot of options.

We did two nights in Chops, two night in Giovanni's, two nights in Hibachi and one night in Wonderland.  If I was cruising Odyssey again I'd do it the same way and pay the uncharge for the hibachi. It was very, very good.

For lunches, beyond the specialty restaurants on sea days, you have the option of Playmakers which has great food and the English Pub.  Odyssey's pub is the only one, that I know of, that serves food.  We ate there for lunch at least three days, if I remember right, on our 8 day cruise.

Currently on Anthem and bought nachos and cheese wedges last night in the Pub.

  6. In December did the tour to the top of Mount Isabelle to see the views from the cable car station and to see the Christ the Redeemer statue. Then our bus took us to town, where we had a guided tour of the chocolate factory and the downtown area. The next time we went we stayed in the port area, had lunch and shopped.

Sandebeach: I'm curious about your upcoming cruise list. If you're sailing every month, how long would you say you're actually at home relative to days at sea !?! Unless some of them are shorter 1-2 week cruises, I don't see that you're home all that much. Incredibly busy travel schedule! I couldn't do it.

We are retired and live in South Florida. We try to cruise at least once a month, but will cruise more if we get deals/discounts through the casino. Many of our cruises are 4 days, so we will try to add on a 3-day to make it a week or more. We are also trying to do our bucket list travel cruises now, while we are both healthy and mobile.
