  1. Thanks for all the information,I do prefer the smaller ships, I was concerned because my daughter doesn't do well on smaller ships. We will be leaving from florida doing the partial transit and I know the bigger ships have better stabilization on them. How are the seas travelling there?

  2. I am looking at these two for the panama canal, I know that caribbean goes through the new locks and coral through the old locks, never been there so not sure if this a big deal or not.Would like some feedback on the 2 ships, which do most prefer.

  3. Just got off Anthem yesterday,as you can look on boards i am never one to complain. I chose this ship because my son and 3 kids have never cruised and wanted it to be really exciting for them.I felt so bad after the first day he said to me that for the money he spent He felt that he should have had better service and food.We did have a good time at horseshoe bay beach and st. george, but on ship we waited in line 1 1/2 hours to do bumper cars, they changed our shows to the last night so we could only see we will rock you, which was great.Everything else was totally booked.Food was good the first night and second two nights it was cold.Never asked if we wanted something to drink, finally the third night I asked for iced tea.In the pool kids were jumping of the railing and not one parent said anything. My daughter had to say something to the kids because they allmost jumped on my 8 year old grandaughter's headThe buffet was so crowded it was hard to find a table.Iheard a lot of complaints on the ship. did look at reviews and should have listened to them,I usually take them with a gran of salt. Lot of people just complain about everything. So that said I will never go on it again, I think the ship is too big and the staff seemed overwhelmed. After doing 2 of the bigger ships I am sticking to smaller ones.Just my two cents.

  4. St George's is so far ahead of Hamilton in respect to showing you Bermuda's historical heritage, there's no comparison.

However, since you are probably going to St George's on the Monday because there are more ferries and you don't want to risk missing the ship by somehow getting stuck up the other end of the island on the Tuesday, don't miss the historical sketch and walking tour in Dockyard - you'll find it starting at the moongate Tuesday morning at 9.30am - look for the soldier in his resplendent red coat and busby. Dockyard may look like a modern cruise port now, but there's so much of interest in the history of why, when, and how it was built by the British Army and Navy in the nineteenth century.

I didn't know that there are more ferries on Monday, thanks for input, is last ferry back at 5:30?

  5. Not sure exactly what you mean.

Are you asking about the difference between choices on Anthem, such as Dynamic Choice and Dynamic Classic?

Or are you asking about the difference between dining on Anthem and dining on non-Dynamic Dining ships, such as Oasis, Freedom, etc.

Yes we are on anthem, I had asked for the regular traditional dining that is same time everynight but found out I has dynamic instead.

  6. We are a group of 11, what would be the best way to get to horseshoe bay? We have 4 children ages 7-16. would we have to split into 2 shuttles and is it same price as adults?Just thinking with everyone might be harder to get on buses.I have read that shuttle drops off at bottom of a hill how long of a walk is this?
