Yes, it's usually worth it to stand in line as $.50 multiplied by the number of rides each person in your party is taking adds up quickly. It's also a lot easier to carry one token per ride than twenty quarters or even five dollar coins per ride. Bills are not accepted...it's coins only.
thanks, I didn't think about that.

Is it worth standing in line to save .50? We have a 5 year old with us and I would rather pay the extra than to stand in line. Also do they only take coins and not paper money?

We have been 3xs each time price went up by $10 pp. We still love it there. Staff is fab. It is very quiet and laid back. The food is very clean eating fresh. They let us get ice tea instead of drinks but I dont think it is free refills. They give us as many towels as we want. We are going back again this September. We hire a driver it is $24pp roundtrip. There are umbrellas on the beach but it is first come first serve. My parents love it too.
We are travelling with a 5 year old, so it might be easier if we hire a driver. Do you tell her a time when to be picked up? Also does she charge same amount for kids?

I have been on pride and breakaway , I would go back on pride only if it was a great price and because it is close to me and the food was very good in MDR. I will never go on Norwegian, food was not so good, some nights it was cold and one night it took us 4 hours to get through our dinner. I have been on celebrity only once (Galaxy) many years ago and the food was GREAT!! This will be our first time on Summit but really looking forward to it.

Thanks for everyones input, I would rather not deal with crowds so am leaning toward CoCo reef.If my granddaughter wants she can also get in pool. It sounds more relaxing to me to have everything right there.

I am traveling with DD and granddaughter age 5 trying to decide which to go to.Any suggestions? which is better in your opinion?
-
I like both lines for different reasons. Royal is great when travelling with my family and grandkids. When travelling without them I prefer Princess.Just my opinion. But whichever has the best deal is where I will be.

I always buy a plate from the islands, I hang them on my kitchen wall.

How can I find out if the bed on the adventure of the seas is by the balcony door or not.My room # is7610

Where's the Gnome? :)
Good idea about watching the sailaway from that balcony.
We found Gary the gnome,we had our 4 year old granddaughter and that's all she talked about, so we searched up and down and finally found him. I will tell you he is behind a bench.

Thanks for the input,we always seem to do starboard side and usually it is the better choice.

i am a firm believer you make your own vacation, and not based on others opinions. some people would complain if you gave them a pound of gold because it was too heavy...some demand alot and some not too demanding...its up to you...enjoy it for what it is..
I totally agree, thats why I went ahead and booked.Just returned from Oasis and there were complainers, I thought it was a beautiful ship and easy to get around.Just my opinion.
-
Are you on the Adventure? Last trip we had a starboard balcony, and saw all but 1 of the ports. But as Bob says it is a roll of the dice, and there are just to many variables.
Yes we are,how did you like the ship,I see some bad reviews on it and was a little hesitant but it was a real good deal and loved the itinerary.

We are doing southern Caribbean out of san juan,St. Croix,St. Maarten,St. kitts,Barbados and Dominica.Which side is better to see ports when arriving?

-
Is there any difference in the two? Looking to book panama canal and was curious to any opinions or feedback on the canal cruise.

Love your review,we are sailing May 10th and cannot wait! My granddaughter is 4 and I told her about Garry the gnome, she tells everyone about it now.

We want to do ruins and playa mia and found that playa mia has their own tour company which will take us to San Gervaso ruins and then to playa beach. The cost is $67.00 pp which is cheaper that through cruise.
-
Has anyone booked with them? We are considering the tour to ruins and then to playa mia beach.RC does not do both and this was another option.
-
We are also sailing May 10th,come over and join our roll call. We are travelling with our 41/2 year old granddaughter also. She is signed up for Barbie experience so I am sure we will meet you there. This will be our first time on Oasis also. Diane

Has anyone done this excursion from RC? I was wondering which beach is included in tour. Any feedback would be appreciated.
