Grandeur has refrigerators in balcony and above cabins.  None in inside or window rooms.

Fingers crossed that the seas die down and you all stay healthy.

Are they still allowing passengers to serve themselves in the Windjammer?

If so I think I might try to stay out of there and do Park Cafe or dining room for lunch.

Is this a noisy room?  Got an offer to upgrade from deck 5 standard balcony to this extended balcony.  Looks like it is below one of the pools and someone said the smoking area is in that area of deck  9 so might be smoky?

Thanks for any advice.  Cost to upgrade is $62.

Plastic plates and plastic utensils in the WJ?  

We were on Grandeur in April and ate at least half of our dinners in the WJ.  Real plates and utensils in there.  Food was great.

I don't need wheelchair assistance but due to age and asthma can't do the big ramp.  I just tell the guys that are there next to the ramp and they let us use the short ramp to board.

I've sailed on Grandeur many times.  For a 4 pm departure the muster drill is around 3:30 pm.  

Not sure of your departure time but I would plan on muster 30 minutes before that.

Anyone know how far it is from Crown Bay to Red Hook ferry and the cost?  We've done it from Havensight but this will be the first time from Crown Bay.

I'm in a suite for my cruise next April.   Didn't know that would include lunch in the dining room on embarkation day.  That will be nice.

That's what I thought but my friend says she saw it.  Maybe one too many drink of the day!

I cruise with mine all the time.  Never had a problem.

I wouldn't pack it in a checked bag.  Always carry it on.

In April on Grandeur they finally had the one cup coffee pods.  Made a great cup of coffee, no mess.

For the first time we didn't have that dispenser in our tub last month in a JS.  We were on Grandeur.

We never use that stuff anyway so it was fine.
