Every line wants to fill ships.

With that said the ships were sized to accommodate many more guests so even full there is a lot of space.

ManFreddie would really disagree with that statement.  I am certain he doesn’t want nc to go the way of Worldcom!

  2. They can’t even sell out inaugural cruises.  That says it all.  If you are a cheerleader good for you.  But if you aren’t concerned then imho you certainly should be.  Too much really bad history here.  And I learned in elementary school if you don’t study history you are doomed to repeat it

  3. Many new staff who don’t know the procedures.  For example we had do not disturb sign out.  Staff kept ringing door bell non stop.  Then entered room.   We did make complaint.  Food and beverage manager did take care

of this.  We had a standing order for a food item to be delivered at a specific time.  The first day it never came.  This type of service is not expected of a five star cruise.

  4. First time on Seaborn.  Met loads of former Crystal cruisers.  Nice folks all around.  Seems to be a shake down cruise.  Management responds to issues as they are brought to their attention.   Many many many new staff.  Not yet a five star cruise.

  5. Cart ride is horrid on the back. It is not an insignificant walk over extremely uneven rocks. It would be difficult and I wouldn't want to risk having to go to hospital there! I would NOT recommend for you. I was just there. Sorry

  6. Everyone is different. I am at one year post tkr and am on pain medications for constant pain that makes it difficult to sleep. I have great range of motion and followed my Md and Pt's advise to a T. However further research shows that at least 25% of all patients experience chronic pain after knee replacement. Your ortho will not tell you this. Do your rehab and follow your physicians advice but everyone is different. In my case I can't stand, sit, or walk for any periods of time without pain. I hope you do better with your surgery

  7. and it was up to them to get to next port,we use ship tours in places that can be complicated and hard to book on own. Then for some ports we feel confident in to see on own, that s what we do.

Try to google tourism in ea. port and see what s available(HOHO, private guides, etc) then compare to what ship offers.

Maybe try a few ship tours and vary with private. Not ALL one or the other.;)

I agree. We were left on our own in South Africa over Christmas as we had planned a several night safari with a couple of other cruisers. We had to find our own way after the ship skipped the port we were to meet it in. On the other hand for most day tours we will definitely do our own thing as it is much less expensive.
