Oddly when I check my flights on the carrier websites, both Air Canada and British Airways, still list my old itinerary.

Booked my flights for my 8/17/19 - 8/31/19 cruise on Emerald Princess within a week or two of them being available. Business class. Air Canada on the way there. Air France operated by Delta on the way back.

Last week I decide to check my flights after getting an email from Delta saying the second leg, Atlanta to Pittsburgh was pushed back a few hours. Longer layover no big deal. But the kicker my flight from Barcelona to Atlanta had disappeared. 

The flight is still available, just not on EZ Air.

I called Princess and she confirmed that while the flight still exists, it is no longer an option for EZ Air.

No email, no alert from Princess.

The outcome being having to rebook a different itinerary at an additional cost of around $375.00 per person.

This is my first negative experience with EZ Air, but is this a common occurrence or just bad luck?

My two questions:

Do the new TV's have the on demand system?

How are internet speeds?

If you are looking for a great hotel in Rome, I highly recommend Hotel Navona. Also, if you would like to hit the ground running and explore Rome after getting off the ship, try Rome in a limo. They will pick you up at the port, take you on a tour around Rome and drop you off at your hotel. 

We only use EZ Air for international. But you can book flights and cancel them prior to final payment if you find better prices or flights.

I was on the Grand last year (3/23-4/7) and watched a bunch of games.

Emerald Princess - 8/17-8/31. Stop in Crete (Chania). I want to look into independent tours or just wing it. Where does the ship dock?

If you check the personilizer, the internet options are gone. They will probably be replaced soon with unlimited options. The same thing happened on my Grand Cruise last March.

Coral all the way. The small ship atmosphere is do much better.

We are 8/17 - 8/31.

I'm on the Emerald in August. Fingers crossed...

Our first was an Alaskan Land and Sea Cruise in 2012 on the Diamond.

Our favorite is the Coral.

I didn't do a speed test. I had the midtier option. But I only saw a few times during the day where there was any lag. Surprisingly, YouTube was blocked on my phone but not on my Amazon Fire.

As of today, our 8/17-8/31 Rome to Barcelona cruise on the Emerald is minutes. I loved the unlimited on the Grand last March. With 9 days at sea back and forth to Hawaii, it was a godsend.

Is unlimited internet availability based on geographic location? I will be on the Emerald in August for a Greece cruise and minutes are the only option.

Get a few people and use Rime in a Limo. We arrived at Pisa before the crowds and skipped the line to see David.

Only minutes offered on our Mediterranean cruise in August. ☹️ 

Were the unlimited plans offered in the personilizer?

I agree. Rent a car. Start doing research and make your own excursion.
