Does NCL offer any special perk or reduced deposit if booking on board?
-
Does the Getaway have an upcoming dry dock scheduled?
-
Two weeks ago NCL cancelled a port and replaced with another. Cruise leaves June 16, 2024 and they have yet to show any excursions for the new port.
-
Cross you fingers we had a port cancelled 2 weeks ago for a port on a cruise that leaves this June.

They are served from the fountain gun in a glass or plastic cup.
Disappointing, I don’t like fountain soda I prefer ice cold soda out of a can.

Are the sodas fountain sodas in a cup or can?

This is the general link , you need to first find your ship then the date of sailing and hopefully you can meet some fellow passengers

For the most part roll calls are pretty dead, we have an upcoming cruise in June and there’s not much info there. It used to be you would find more private tour information and join other groups on your cruise. No longer the case. I think people are using other social media platforms that I don’t use.

Orvieto and Civita di Bagnoregio, sometimes you can find a tour that includes both.

Do these cabins have fridges?

Our ship docks in Athens at 5:30 what might be the latest we can leave ship?

Just received email mosquito’s on our upcoming France, Italy, Greek cruise departing Barcelona. We’ve done many similar itineraries and never received an email like this. Is anyone aware of a particular problem with certain European countries? If so which ones? I always pack repellant on any trip we do but have never had to use it except in Yosemite. Did anyone receive this email as related to their upcoming cruise.

Some smaller businesses and street only take cash too.

Not gonna lie, I'm pretty jealous you're getting a replacement port. We're just getting an extra sea day, with our Tortola cancellation.
Our 9 day cruise has no sea days pretty intense schedule, we may just use this new port as sea day.

Our Med cruise in 2022 visited both Corfu and Katakolon. We enjoyed both! In Katakolon, we wanted to visit Olympia and the archeological site. We chose The Olympia Project semi-private tour with Niki Olympic Tours. The included lunch was so good!!!
Thank you I will check that out.

Looks like NCL cancelled Corfu on several cruise last year. I begin to think they include it to entice people to sign up but have no intention of actually going there. Several people think it was to cut fuel costs.

Yours is not the only ship to drop Corfu for Katakalon, I think it's the third I know of.

That’s interesting I wonder what the problem is.

Thank you all for port suggestions.

Well, I hope this isn’t a trend. We’re supposed to be in Corfu in September on the Pearl and that’s one of the destinations We are very excited about! Do they say why they are changing it?
No real explanation, seems to be a trend with NCL after following the boards on NCL. This is my grandaughter's graduation trip and she's a little dissapointed. on the positive side some longer port times.

Just received email this morning about itinerary’s changes for Getaway June 16-27 Greek Cruise. They eliminated Corfu and replaced with Katalon/Olympia Greece. Very disappointed. I also posted on roll call but it’s very dead so I thought I would post here as well. Back to the drawing board. NCL said they would list their tours May 10. Also some changes to port times, that are good thing. Anyone with suggestions of what type of tours for new port?
-
We too had booked private excursion. It left early and we goy there before the larger boats. Less expensive than the cruise ship smaller group. I would only do ships tour if you were in port a short period of time.

What is on deck 4 of NCL Getaway, it doesn’t show on deck plans. Would there be anything that would effect cabins on deck 5 ?
Soda package - aren't sodas free?

I don’t think any cruise line has free sodas. You either get a drink package or pay as you go. It always irks me that regular coffee free, but not sodas. I neither drink coffee or alcohol. I believe milk, coffee, tea and juices are free.
