  1. I have loved this review and will be here til the end. I apologize in advance, but I did cry at the picture of Snowy. I miss my Charlie, gone 1/8/2021. I get too attached.

I really want to go to Dublin one day. I earmarked the hotel on TA. Such a lovely hotel. Your pictures are incredible.

Wow, your flight home. I am impressed. The room, the food, and on time!!

Looking forward to your Azamara tidbits!

  2. I am enchanted by your pics of the Segrada and Gaudi. I learn so much through your GSJ and pictures. How did Carol come by her knowledge of architect? I would love to start reading some books.

Looking forward to more Barcelona. Hope your catered Thanksgiving was delish. We had the usual at my SIL's house. We missed last year due to a certain virus, and it was nice to see everyone again.

    Anxiously following along!

  3. Oh goodness my heart hurt when you posted about Snowy; but 18 years old, what a good life. I cannot seem to get a cat to live past 12. My Charlie died unexpectedly in January, 12 years old. Prior cats lived to about 12, including my Meemee. But, you now have beautiful Rodolfo and Mimi. So happy to hear about your beautiful adoptees. Living the life with you and Carol. My motto, adopt don't shop.

Your time in Avignon, I would love a full day of strolling around. What a beautiful place.  Your pics bring everything to life.

    Congrats on the retirement!

  4. Following along and so enjoying. I am finding the comments about coffee interesting. I detest hotel coffee and such, I can't imagine a good coffee at a rest stop. As you say, the rest stops in the U.S. are run in and run away as fast as you can.

Norris, thought I would throw in there we have another trip to Sedona planned for late March. It is a happy place for us. I am trying to convince hubs I need a cruise 2024. 60th BD and all. He just grunts at me. I will live vicariously at CC until then.

  5. Norris (and Carol) goodness Page 12 but I found you! I have a note from my mother for my late arrival. You got to go on your cruise! I somehow remembered way back in my mind you were debating on whether to go and it was booked around Halloween. I am loving all pics and GSJ commentary of course. I am all caught up with only 2 glasses of wine (Pinot Grigio) and so looking forward to all that comes. Life is good.

  6. No cruises for a long while, hopefully 2022.   DH wants to do road trips for a while, he got tired of short port times on Caribbean cruises.  He has agreed to a cruise, probably Baltic, when he retires so we can have more time.  That thing called work interferes.  So, I live vicariously thru cruise reviews and get ideas for when the time comes.  You should see my bucket list notebook of ideas.  I forgot to ask, we usually do private tours, and I saw you did quite a few on this cruise.  Where do you usually look for your private tours? I have looked at CC and TA in the past, and found most good, a few amazing, and just one or two so so.

  7. Agreed - I have read your Antartica review and the pictures are stunning .  Especially the penguins.

I cannot imagine having the flu on a cruise.  I get my flu shot every year and still seem to get the flu every couple of years.  It is the worst.  We flew to Florida last Friday for a long weekend and my allergies went with me and got worse in Florida.  It developed into more all week but I have to work with no sick days.  Feeling better though after my day of rest,

Thank you again for your amazing reviews.  Looking forward to finding you on your next cruise.
