  1. I booked a flight to Ft. Lauderdale on the same day of the cruise..the flight arrives in Ft. Lauderdale at about 6:00 am, did not think anything of it except being able to save on hotel stay pre cruise until lately that I need some place to hang around with all my luggages and carry on for at least 4 plus hours before being able to go to cruise terminal and at that early hour no places anywhere would be open except the airport, I'm not sure after I pickup the luggages there will be any stores in the luggage pickup area outside of the concourse.

Would someone please help suggest places to go, what to do..etc.? I do not know Ft. Lauderdale air port area that well at all. Thank you in advance. TR.

  2. IloveGESUS,

Your friend may not be a Thai citizen I've never heard of Thai refugee only other nationalities who crossed over Thai border and were detained in refugee camp set up by Thai government and later on making over to the US as refugees, that's why he and his family could not get passport from Thailand or their own country, indeed they are stateless!

  3. Andy,

I experienced the same thing I asked and they said no I asked Why? they said they already counted the house ships on that side so that where they'll start the game from, sounded crazy to me how long and how much effort does it take to count the other side!!

  4. I play all over ever since they have craps, I've never won on any cruise(been on 5 cruises all on Carnival) but did have ton of fun I am an optimistic person and always thinking when playing have much better luck on land than sea but nothing beats craps on a cruise you can walk to it from your cabin and back. May be when you get back we can play together here in Black Hawk.

BTW..Craps table at Ameristar is way too bouncy.. all of them same with the Lodge, I like Johny Z, the Isle and Riviera. Have fun on ypur cruise and win a lot!!

  5. Ha..ha..ha..Thanks CP for the Monday morning laugh.. BTW I was playing last night and one lady was throwing I can tell she is amateur so I put my chip on the Don't Come she rolled a 10 so I put full odds on it, two more rolls she crapped out. That's the only time I played on the back side. The casino just have a new bet called Sharp Shooter..you get paid if you roll at least 3 points (6 to 1) and it progresses to 10 points (300 to 1) I do like this bet I managed to roll 6 points (30 to 1)..sweet I am hooked now!!

  6. HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO Trnkk: I was playing at Binion's Horseshoe in Las Vegas in the early '90's. This oriental guy comes up to the table and places a suitcase on the Don't Pass Line. They stop the game and he has to open his suitcase up. They count out the money. $250,000. The give him chips and he places it all on the Don't Pass. Dealers turn to the Casino Manager who says, "We will cover." Shooter establishes a point hits a few numbers then sevens out. Player takes his $500,000 and is never seen again.

That's crazy!!! This gives me a hint I should try the Don't Pass Line today just to make Yo Eleven happy!!!

  7. HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO wldflr: Playing craps is fun. I enjoy playing because the dealers don't have a lot to do with the outcome such as rolling a ball as in Roulette,

    Casino Player,

So you think dealers have a lot to do with the outcome in Roulette? Please enlighten me on that I am interested to know how. Thanks, Teddy

  8. We just got back from the Spirit and did in fact get the premium Bon Voyage package as promised prior to the trip. It included a basket of fruit, a couple of large bottles of water and a bottle of wine. We also received a $15 photo coupon the first night at dinner.

The host on board the Spirit was awesome. She actually found us the first night in the casino by seeing our names on the slots while our cards were in the machines. Every day she came by to talk to us and was always very friendly.

Overall we had a great time in the casino. DW hit a couple of jackpots on video poker and DH was able to play craps throughout the week and not loose too much.

Craps..Ah..craps..that's what I am looking to play on the Legend 2/20/2011. Good to hear DH didn't lose too much. I am practicing playing craps here at local casinos.

The Guy I spoke with said once again that the Key was to Phone in everytime before you cruise to see what you Qualify for.....Weve Lost out on alot of Freebies and Cash by not doing this.

BUT ARE STARTING THIS UPCOMIMNG CRUISE WITH A BANG!!

My wife emailed them the week before Christmas and got a reply she qualifies for a premium package Bon Voyage, so I called the number 1 888-672-2582 and talked to a nice lady turn out I also qualify for a premium package as well and have a choice of taking $25 casino credit or get 2 packages delivered to the room I opted for 2 packages cause it will last longer than $25 for sure. So yes call that number they have all your info from previous cruises and look it up in a heart beat and let you know right away if you qualify or not.

  10. I've been trying 4* miami downtown for weeks now, up to $130 with no success. I need one night May 2nd, 2009. You think I'm too far out from the need date to get a decent rate?

$65 is an awesome deal (best online rate is $209 right?). I've seen it go pretty regularly for $85-95 so that's a good deal. Should I wait it out some till I try some more?

    Hi,

I would wait till 2 weeks before the trip since hotels should know by then how the demands are and do not worry you will not get a place to stay there is hundred of hotels down there! JMHOP. Good luck!!

  11. Has anyone ever wondered about water supply on the cruise ship? With thousands of people using water every day, and also restaurants, spa, pool... Where does the water come from? Will it ever be out? How do they refill the water, where and when? I kept this question in my mind ever since I came back from our first cruise in Feb' 08. We are cruising again in Feb' 09 I am going to ask them (captain) this time but I think I ask you guys here on CC may be someone has already asked this question and would like to share this information so I can get it out of my head beforehand. Am I nuts?
