  1. I was wondering - I have seen some photos of the pool deck and it looks like there are cabanas/day beds. Does anyone know if they are available to rent for the day/half day or are all of them strictly first come first served, have to battle the chair hogs kind of deal?
  2. I hope you are right as we are planning on using the sofabed on our trip
  3. Does anyone know - after the extensive refurb that Navigator received - were all cabins given a refresh or just certain groups?
  4. So here is a related question that the OP may need to have answered to pass the info to the rest of the group. It has been years since we sailed so I don't know the answer to this but someone else might. When they all board will there be a hold on each of their credit cards like there would be at check in at a hotel? What amount is that normally?
  5. Ok so what about the frequency of the orders... if I take both my and hubby's card to get us each a drink and we don't like them (maybe we tried something new that was too sweet) can we go right back and get something else?
  6. I am going to purchase the alcoholic drink package for our next sailing. I was curious... if I am say finishing up at the pool and want to take a couple drinks back to the cabin while I shower, get dressed and sit on balcony before dinner - am I restricted to ordering one at a time? What if I am back in cabin dressing and hubby is still at pool - can he bring back one for each of us?
  7. I came across this hotel and was wondering if anyone had any experience. I am not sure if it is brand new or just renovated/rebranded but the usual sites don't seem to have reviews for it. Has anyone stayed here or have any info on proximity to cruise port? It came up listed as close to airport and the rates are decent for NYE time frame
  8. Did they end up letting you into your room before 4pm? Were you able to use the rest of the facilities upon arrival?
  9. I received an email from expedia today saying our flight time home the day after our cruise had changed. We booked way far out so I knew this was a posibility. We went from a 30 min layover to one of 4.5 hours. Thanks to the advice here (not directly to me but from reading the posts) and some info from my friend google (found another similar content blog) I suspected that American Airlines may allow us to switch flights without charging. (Was hoping for that 90 min exception I was reading about). I called Expedia and had a patient and kind rep answer. It was a very long call as I was on hold for ages while she tracked down what she was able/not able to do (at one point she was also on hold with American Airlines for 30 mins). The airline gave her the ok to put us on a direct flight leaving roughly the same time we would have on the original one stop flight with no charge or change fee to us. Sometimes things work out...I am glad I called to ask.
  10. Thank you so much for these. We are booked NYE cruise and I have been waiting on pins and needles for new pics after the dry dock. Looks so fun.
  11. Can the lessons be booked ahead through my cruise planner? I don't see anything now but figured that was because we are still so far out from the trip. Do you know whether stand up surfing is allowed/time restrictions?
  12. We will be sailing on Navigator late December and I know my son (17 at time) would love to try out the Flow Rider. Do you know whether or not I need to book a timeslot for him? Is it first come, first served? Lessons? Cost? Any help would be appreciated. There was one at an indoor waterpark we went to but you were not allowed to stand on the boards, only ride on your stomach unless you had taken a lesson and the lessons were only offered a couple days a week so I want to make sure he is able to get the full experience this time.
  13. I was thinking that Starbucks GCs for the teenagers before we sail would be a nice Christmas gift if there is one on board the Navigator after the reno they are doing. Do you know whether a GC bought in Canada would work or are these only American Starbucks GCs that people have been using with success so far?
  14. Thank you.... just wondering if it is at all necessary for floor length gowns...
