Lots of great memories but the happy ones were when we took the Grandkids on their first cruise. We have six Grandkids and we take two at a time, four down and two to go.
-
Yep:(. I had withdrawals.
-
Also our favorite too, we eat there once on every cruise.

Not in booking a cruise but it has helped in booking shore excursions.

Isnt it an airboat in a park, with captured alligators, rather than airboat in the Everglades, with real alligators?
No, it was thru the Everglades with real gators.
They did have a gator farm on site.
-
We did it but not thru the cruise line. We had two post cruise days so we did it on our own and had a blast.
We were the last airboat of the day, it was just my wife and I on board so we got to do a lot more turns and spins. What a ride that was.
I can't remember the cost but it included the gator farm as well.
Your family will have a good time.

This is why they avoid NCL ships.

I know the Star had some refurbished work done in 2010. I haven't seen anything yet on more work to be done. I'm sure someone will have an answer.

Hello fellow cruisers -
My wife and I will be doing our second NCL cruise next year on the Jewel. We're doing the 9 day Alaskan from Seattle.
My question is what ports are going to require a tendering, if any?
We'll be in a suite so I know we get priority tendering, but I just want to be prepared for it.
We'll be porting in Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Icy Strait Point, and Victoria BC.
I couldn't find anywhere on the NCL page about where they tender.
Thanks all!
The only port I have tendered at was Icy Strait Point a few years back.

Just wanted to. net my excitement, I just booked our Alaska cruise for 2015! Our 2nd cruise, this time taking my Dad who is retired navy with us, and we can hardly wait! Wish time would hurry up and fly by!:DWe're sailing on May 31 on the Pearl. Lucky you to be going to the Panama Canal! That's one cruise that is definately on my bucket list :D
You will enjoy Alaska and both ships are great, we been on both ships and to Alaska 4 times. We have been taking the grandkids two at a time, only two left that haven't been there. Each trip we see and do different things.
Enjoy your trips.

Really, this is good to know I so enjoy Teppanyaki.
I will have to start looking for this.

Found this on an NCL site.

Sound like a good program, I'm not sure if I could eat at more than one in a night. I just might have to give it a try next time.

The 2" clear packing tape over the paper tags has always work great for us.
-
Great to see the sisters together.

It's things like this and other things that NCL does to help that keep me coming back.
It does take some time and phone calls but for the most part you do hear back.
Thanks NCL

Bait and switch!
Bait & Switch ? This I do have to agree with but they both do have the sesame seed bun.

Anniversary -
We have done 3 cruises where our Anniversary fell on or during the sailing, it is worth it. Surprise him, he will remember it for ever.

Depends on what category guarantee they paid for.. It's possible they booked and paid for a suite guarantee and got the owners suite. Im guessing they didn't upgrade them from an inside cabin..
I think this is the one njsonja is talking about. It was a guarantee inside to the owners suite.

Thank y'all it's kinda nerve wracking doing business online for me. I didn't even think to check with the BBB. I'm going to have lots of questions coming up. Hope no one minds schooling a newbie.

I would be interested in this too, being a 3 or 4 day cruise would they have time to give the tours.
