This is my second year as Signature.  I have yet to get the monthly offers, and just recently started getting better offers than $250 off. I just got the Summer Sizzle Balcony offer.  When I call about the monthly offers I keep getting the same response. "I have no idea why your not getting them, you should be.  I'll send an inquiry to find out why."  Does anyone have an email address for Casino Royale?

I have ClubRoyale@rccl.com. Hope this still works.

  2. Welcome to Cruise Critics - your husband and son do not have to sign up for cruise critics unless they want to. If you go back to boards and scroll down to roll call, you will be able to find the roll call for your particular cruise and then you can ask the question about transportation and meet some of the people who will be on your cruise. Good luck!

  3. I wish it were true, but seriously doubt it. In the past 15+ RCCL cruises I've seen them putting stickers on chairs ONCE. At any time of day or night.

Shopnagain was right - we came off the Freedom on March 25th from an 8 day cruise and never once say a pool attendant remove towels that were left on loungers all day - probably while the towel owners were on an island - we only got off at St. Kitts so we were at the Solarium every day and saw many towels left for more than 3 or 4 hours. They were not using any type of sticker.

The kids stayed at the Driftwood motel in Lauderdale by the Sea. Why aren't more people talking about this town? Its adorable with a beautiful beach (except the fact that they charge $2 to use the pier) I can't say enough about the hospitality, cleanliness and overall everything about this motel. It had every activity needed and even had beach chairs to use. Loved it. Will stay again when I'm in town longer than 4 hours.

    Up next..FINALLY! THE CRUISE!

Another great place in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is the Windjammer Resort (one block south of village pump). Right on the ocean - we own timeshare there.

  5. Relax - you will get your money back - either through RC or through your credit card. Try to calm down and have a wonderful birthday week-end. This problem will still be there next week but there's nothing you can do now. The executive office knows about it so they won't let it be cancelled. Just try to relax and enjoy your birthday !

  6. Reference my TA using my CC as a loan to themselves, with the charge being billed as to RCCL, how would they get the money? Charge my card to RCCL and then obtain a refund to the agency? Not sure how it would work but definitely not ruling it out. Something about this TA is off and unusual.

I'm doing my best to be patient. It's hard when it's dragged on THIS long. I don't want to sail without having this resolved.

What if someone else gave them cash or a personal check to the TA to pay for their RC cruise? They could have charged your card for the other cruisers and kept the cash/check. Just saying!

  7. Does anyone know the email address for the casino players team? Last year both mum and I got certs for a freebie cruise which we combined and used for a free UK cruise but I've since been told I can ask them for a price without a cert too?? Is this correct? We have a spare week in Florida after our family leave and before we get the transatlantic back to the UK that I'd love to book a cruise for. UK prices are coming up high and wondered if the casino team would offer a better price.

  8. About 10 years ago, we got off a Royal ship and somehow our friend left one of her carry ons on the curb when we got in a hotel van. She noticed at the hotel and our hubby's took a cab back and couldn't find it. She had left it in front of a Princess pier and she called them after getting home - they said they would contact the ship. They called her a week later and had found it on the ship and Princess paid to ship it from Florida to Massachusetts - even with the Royal Caribbean tags all over it.

I think Royal could have tried a little harder to get it to the hotel between the 15th and the 18th as a good will gesture.
