Or were you allowed in because you are in a JS?  Inquiring minds, and this D+, want to know.:classic_tongue:  Also, I wonder if these divisions between lounges might vary from cruise to cruise depending on how the passenger numbers shake out.  They know many suites, pinochles  and D+s are aboard each sailing.

D+ can use CL:) I read it somewhere yesterday. Hope that's still true. Like 2 options. Hi Delta! Haven't seen you in a long time. Peggy

  2. Do any Celebrity ships have pickleball?  I see many are making the courts into Retreat area. Such a shame. Have played on Oasis class with RCL. I feel more people would enjoy having it than a retreat area. I guess it is more about the ka-ching. It's kinda a senior activity but so many younger people are starting to enjoy it.

Yesterday all of the crew was tested. In his morning announcement, the captain said that there had been a few positive cases, both symptomatic and a symptomatic.

Presumably those crew will go to a hotel in Fort Lauderdale when we land tomorrow.

Thank you for your updates! I am so excited to be boarding on 2/4. I have had Covid not so long ago and hope to have lots of antibodies.

  4. Our grand daughter is sailing with us at the end of October if all goes well and I am concerned about her ability to be in certain areas of the ship because she can't be vaxed yet. Is it true she can't go Teppanyaki? That is one her favorite places. Can she go to specialty restaurants ...my husband said he read she can't:( No bar areas...obviously she doesn't drink but we do and she sits with us in the Schooner bar on the outskirts to watch the promenade.  I know October is a bit away, but time flies and I hope we can get some specifics about children. She has already had Covid:(

No, it isn’t an official name, but I’m calling the cruise I join tomorrow the Voyage of the Saints.  It’s officially a 12-day Southern Caribbean cruise with 3 straight sea days down and another 3 straight sea days back.  In between we have 5 ports:

    Frederiksted, St. Croix
    St. Johns, Antigua
    Castries, St. Lucia
    Basseterre, St. Kitts
    and
    Phillipsburg, St. Maarten

I’m very much an out of control cruiser.  My usual cruise lines are Crystal, HAL, and Cunard but Royal is quite a strong 4th, especially for their service out of Baltimore.  This will be my 3rd or 4th cruise on Lady G (depending on how my B2B is counted, 6th or 7th Royal Cruise from Baltimore (with 3 on Enchantment) and my 12th or 13th overall.  In part I selected the 12-day itinerary because it will JUST move me up to D+ (love the double points for solos).

I’m more of a narrative than a visual person but there will be some photos.  I will normally post once a day the following morning unless something urgent comes up.  I will link to a few photos,  The posts will be pretty much a repeat of my blog which will likely have some more photos and also tabs with the daily Compasses and Menus.  The blog is at:

One more sleep until I’m on board.

That's funny! That's what I have been calling it!

  6. Which ship/company are you sailing? We are doing this itinerary in 2019 also (we are going in October). We are doing Avalon Imagery II. Avalon provides the nights in Prague as well as the transport via motor coach to Nuremburg. Do you not get transportation with the one you are using?

We are doing Prague on our own.

  7. My DH and I are looking for transportation from Prague to Nuremburg. It seems it will be bus or train. We noticed that most modes get you in during the wee hours of the morning which wouldn't work to board the ship.Don't want to have to get a room.We aren't sailing til 2019, but ever planning with much excitement.
