Hey! Aunt Rose....BACK TO THE HOME after this cruise!!!!!!!!
-
first night last night should be fine for shorts never never tank tops for men hairy arm pits is not good in mdr
...........but what if the arm pit hair was in a French braid?..................
-
.........are those "shorts" like those "shorts" Richard Simmons wears? If so than no thanks......I don't need to see someone's "junk" while I dine......
-
Shorts? No problem. I DO have a problem when I wear my Speedo to dinner when the back of my thighs are itchy from the chair. Of course I always bring a sweater to cover my "wife beater T shirt" when the AC is too cold.....
-
I see a number of passengers having a difficult time walking around the "islands" with those selfie sticks shoved up their butt by the "natives". Don't be one of those Ugly Americans.........
-
I keep reading that baseball caps are not allowed. So, other kinds of hats ARE allowed?
.....and if the Captain is from Norway those big Viking hats with the horns.....
-
And why should those of us who prefer the buffet have to deal with the unshowered outcasts from the MDR?????
..............well, they can't eat in their cabin now that they charge $795.00 for delivery of room service.....
(I know it is $7.95 but the way people complain it might as well be $795.00.)

Sorry for taking a while to post. Diamond lounge was excellent, great concierge and service, many said best DL ever.
Casino not really very busy except on night before sea day but this can vary.
Schooner bar and R bar both good for pre-dinner cocktails.
All staff were excellent. One of the friendliest ships I have cruised on. I really cannot understand the negative reviews.
Food choices have gone down but seems to be the norm, only one night where I couldn't see a good choice for me (the last night), so had the filet mignon from Chops and it was superb.
......I agree 1000% with you.

Can someone help me with the guidelines for Men's dress code? What is the difference between smart casual and dress casual?
Thanks!;p
.....same as the difference between pregnant and a little bit pregnant..............;p

Another headliner: We saw Marcus Monroe last night - Juggler/Comedian. We really enjoyed the show. We typically avoid practiced comedian acts, because ad lib is more our style... Marcus did not disappoint with his ad lib humor. It was very funny and entertaining! DH wished he had gone to the early show so that he could see it twice... [emoji846]

We just sailed Freedom a few weeks ago and I agree Marcus Monroe was the ONLY show we enjoyed. The rest were terrible or seen them a number of times. Sad that it seems even the entertainment is being sacrificed to fund the "monster ships".

I don't think Medicare will cover cruise costs.

...........but welfare does............check it out how some use their "assistance from the government" to pay for their cruise...
-
I had to laugh at all the people taking photos of the nude sunbathing people on the ship next to us as we sailed away from St Kitts. And this was not playboy more like national geography.

...............and like some seen on the nude beach in St. Maarten characters from "Star Wars:.....

Unfortunately this is nothing new, Royals been adding extra charges for 20 yrs starting with Johnny Rockets on Voyager which was free at first. Even soda pop with meals was free on cruise ships 20-30 yrs ago. All businesses are doing it, airlines charge for seats, soda and luggage. Unfortunately its the same ever where. I think the room service fee is here to stay even for the handicapped...
I did notice that there is talk of "pay as you go" coin operated toilet paper dispensers in all bathrooms. I wonder if an 18% tip charge will be affixed to the refill charge per dispenser.
-
Well. it's cheaper than a nursing home.
........I did notice that the ship store are selling more Depends lately.......they are usually located right next to the Ensure and hearing aid batteries........
-
............and with so many disabled passengers why don't they have handicapped pier parking for the ship when it comes into port. You know the pier closest to the shoreline. All that would be required is a four deck high placard hanging from the perch of the ship.
-
The ship rats you out. You get to go to front line though. If made in US, no duty is owed

Tiffany's abandoned Newark, New Jersey a century ago....I would bet most items are "created by our amazing international artists"......;p

We went in November, and my daughter bought a necklace that was the exact same price as the Tiffany store in Charlotte, just no taxes on it.

I hope she declared it for customs........

Don't forget RCL ships are registered in the Bahamas and go by their laws. ADA is an "American thing" ( sadly).
-
Shared some great laughs with "Super" Mario and Elaine and Alan in the CL a couple weeks ago. Funny jokes and really nice people. Makes any cruise great. Cheers!
-
Any time that I have walked by I've never seen anyone in there except employees.
I just think that the majority of RCL's passengers are not Tiffany's target audience. Now Ben and Jerry's is more in line with the demographic. ;p

Royal Caribbean made $1.28 BILLION in profit last year. How much is enough?
http://www.sun-sentinel.com/business/tourism/fl-royal-caribbean-4q2016-results-20170126-story.html
It's NEVER enough.........that's capitalism.;)
-
Sounds like Tiffany's is desperate........
HELP! I think I left something onboard.

The same thing happens to me every time I leave the ship. I leave most of my MONEY and can never get any back.......
