I am fine with the card and landyard. I have not noticed when anyone remarked on the color of my card. e:D
...................if anyone would remark about the "color of my card" that would sound racist to me.......:o:D
-
...................when you reach D+ and above RCL will implant a chip in your arm so no need for lanyards.
-
..............just tell them you are a "refugee" and you are good to go........

Hehehe....me too. No wait a minute, after this cruise I'll make it 'all the way' to Platinum so the shirt wouldn't be wearable anymore. j/k
....get a striped shirt, gold and platinum, to cover all your up coming bases.

We wear our SeaPass cards on a lanyard for convenience. We have drink packages and Casino play and easier to hand off from a clip than from a pocket. I try to wear it under a shirt but if it shows, it is not because it is GOLD or PLUM color. Besides, I have a bad case of CRS and this way I can keep track of my SeaPass.

.....I also wear a lanyard because there are no pockets in a SPEEDO!!!!!...................really I also suffer from CRS.

I read that Russia is trying to start one for cruises around the Black Sea.
..............I heard that the internet would be free......but monitored by "big brother"....

I think the shirt is a little "tacky"......I would think a nice sport jacket with the crest on the breast pocket would be in better taste......much like the golfers' jacket from Augusta........only in green. Now THAT would be a statement.

Yes, his logo was on the opposite side. How was it acquired?
...........can you say "copyright infringement"?...........

Capitalism at it's best..............not too many socialist cruise lines in the world........

Agreed! Issue is not with children - but some adults who show no sense of couth.
Agreed100%.......Most of the kids act better than a lot of adults on RCL.\
-
Did you happen to post that video anywhere? Would be very interesting to watch.
No but I will look into that and talk to my kids. I would have no idea how to do that but I am sure anyone under 20 years old knows. Stay tuned.:)

You will probably have more trouble getting into Quebec than into the US especially if you speak English.
It happened to me, One time I was at the border going into Quebec and I have a NRA sticker on my old truck. Told a number of times guns are not allowed in Canada and I know this. Sat at the booth about 50 minutes then told to "go". I also had been questioned for a long time returning to the U.S. for we did a quick trip with the kids to go to the zoo right over the border. After I thought they must have suspected a drug dealer or something. No problems either time for in my view the service is just doing their job. Keep up the good work Border Protection Canada and U.S..

A number of years ago there was a fund raiser for Make A Wish and the raffle was an all access tour of the lower working of the Freedom of the Seas. I "won" one spot ( great monetary donation) and a few of us did get to see the control room, engine room(s) (two of them, electrical room, water production area as well as a quick look into the waste management area, (P.U.) led by the chief Engineer aboard the Freedom. It took a couple hours because the Chief really went into details about the workings and integration of the "hotel" with the ship. I even got to video most except for the electrical room. Yes it was very hot in the engine room and loud but very clean. It gives you a great respect for the complexity of the ship and the "hotel". With the new regulations for terrorists I suspect they have re thought the practice. But look for an auction. Maybe you will get lucky.

Haha private jet I wish! I am a fan of Celine Dion though lol! Good to hear no issues where you are, thank you!
You're welcome. Happy 150th birthday for the Canadian unification this year.:)
-
Is this Celine Dion? You will probably flying in your private jet so no worries. I thought you will be flying out of Vegas? :D Anyways no problem with Canadian passports. Twenty miles from the border here in northern Vermont no problem with Canadians traveling back and forth like always.
-
You obviously have never had any of the good Canadian Maple Syrup, after all our flag has the Maple Leaf on it. The Vermont flag has a Pine Tree, some wheat sheaves, a deer head and a cow. Just sayin'. ;)
..............I thought the maple leaf represented that Toronto hockey team?:D
-
Plus 18% grats and not included in any of the dining packages.
..............dom't give them any ideas...........:D
-
Maybe RCI can start selling real maple syrup right next to the fresh squeezed orange juice machine.
$12.00 an ounce.......
-
We just bring a few little bottles with us to use and to give to the crew as gifts. Yes we are from Vermont so we have easy access to different sizes to bring.

we do also.....one trip we were in Newark N.J. and because of construction we had to exit and be re screened for security. We purchased our maple syrup at the BTV airport past security and you guessed it, we had to give up our liquid gold BUT we made a couple ticket agents very, very happy.
-
Québec Maple syrup is the best thing in entire world. The other Stuff we name it "sirop de poteau" (pole Syrup). Like this
.........love it!:D:D:D
-
That is nice of you, does the crew say that vermont maple syrup is not the same as QUEBEC Maple Syrup ?
Why you had to capitalize vermont I don't know.
...........because it is the best in the world....:D......all I know they tell me it is way better than the corn sugar stuff.;)
-
We take our own VERMONT maple syrup with us and also small containers to give to the crew. We would be stopped at the border if we ever used that corn syrup.:D
