Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. UPDATE: I received a reply from Stinapa directly: As a cruise passenger you don’t have to pay any nature fee. Just identify yourself as a cruise passenger by showing your cruise ID. And you should be good to do any water activity on the island. Hope this helps.
  2. Hello! Arriving in Bonaire in August 2023 as a cruise passenger - looking into booking with a company directly for a 1 hr glass bottom boat tour in Klein Bonaire. Their website indicates we need to also bring proof of purchase of the STINAPA nature fee, but from what I could find online, it doesn't apply until 2024 for cruise passengers entering the Bonaire National Marine Park area? I tried reaching out to the tour company for more info and the only reply I got was "For cruise passengers it's 10 a day I guess. Needed for all water activities. It's your own responsibility. I don't ask for it" - Does anyone know what the procedure is if I'm not going with a Carnival excursion? Do we just bring our cruise card as "proof" we are cruise passengers? And is there actually a $10 nature fee at this time for water activities, and if so, where would one purchase that? The STINAPA website only has the $40 option, which is good for an entire year for the non-cruisers. I'd hate to show up and then be turned away because we didn't have what we needed. It didn't seem like the tour people had the ability or interest to address this fee any further.... any insight would be super appreciated! Thanks a bunch! 🤩
