I know it will be done by 1/20 because my PVP told me. I was going to book that week, but the week after was a little less expensive. I can wait one more week to save up for more spending money, but it's not easy!:o

Has anyone done the Carnival Turneffe snorkel excursion lately? I am trying to find out if you get picked up right from the ship and it doesn't say on Carnival's website. We would like to avoid tendering to shore and having to rush to meet an independent tour.

Please let me know about that hotel when you get back. We will need one at the end of January. I assume you got it on Priceline?:confused:

There is shampoo & liquid soap in the showers on all the Carnival cruises we have been on. The extra toiletries are samples, so they can change.

I prefer the showers in the spa, much bigger than the ones in the room. It's worth the walk. Our steward must think we never shower!:o Does anyone know if the spa showers on Legend have multiple shower heads like some other ships?

We had 8232 on Miracle which is the same class ship. The balcony was wider and 3 times as long. We had the usual furniture plus 2 loungers and it was still roomy. You can see pics in my Miracle Review.

The only thing we didn't like was that it was set in so you couldn't see to the front of the ship and there was a little chair scraping noise from Lido in the morning, only heard it outside, not in the room.

See if you can order the excursion from Funvision in your cabin if the lines are long at the Purser's desk. That is what we always did.

Just booked the Legend for the same ports we had on Miracle 2 years ago.:cool:

We have been to Cayman twice, this time we are just going shopping.

At Cozumel, we have been to Paradise Beach twice, might try something different this time.

Costa Maya, I want to go to Mahajual again,

Belize, we did cave tubing, will do a snorkel trip off the ship this time.

I'm really excited, it's fun to be going back to familiar ports!:)

TPA is always easier for us than MCO, but it's not that bad a drive to Tampa if you decide to do that. I just booked the Legend and am scouring the East Coast board for info on hotels in case the inlaws are out of town or otherwise occupied when we get there.

Just booked the Legend for end of January. So many reasons- love the ports, price, Tampa, etc. So many good reviews, and she will be a week out of drydock according to my PVP. I will be following this thread for months!:eek:
