Haven't read this thread in it's entirety, but would like to share this thought.
Other cruise lines share their loyalty program across the lines. I really wish CCL would do the same. We have over 50 cruises beween Carnival and Princess. Elite on Princess and a few days short for Diamond on Carnival. Each cruise line is different, but both have good points.
Maybe if the lines shared the loyalty, cruisers would be encouraged to try the other lines under the CCL umbrella.

A few days ago someone posted about similar problems. I faxed mine Monday or Tuesday and it went thru.
Thanks for responding. I will keep trying. However, if I am not successful by tomorrow, I will use snail mail and hope for the best.

Is anyone, besides me, having problems FAXing the shareholder information?
Have tried since yesterday. If this keeps up, the amount of the shareholder will be just about the amount on my phone bill!
I am using 661-753-0180. Their macine picks up and then the call is disconnected.
Thanks for any input.

thank you for posting the codes. I used BGD001 for our excursion on the Valor December cruise.

Enjoyed your review. Thanks for posting.
We are cruising the Glory on June 3 out of Boston. I am now convinced we should cruise out of Norfolk just for the drive from Florida. We were stationed in Norfolk in the 60s and haven't been there since. (Nothing against Norfolk, just left the Navy for the Air Force)

I use a version of this method. Haven't mastered formal wear yet (tux just seems too large but my clothes are fine), only casual clothes. We find we are doing formal night less and less. Although our carry-on is with us, I always cross pack.
Shoes, limited to two pairs - wear one and pack one, in plastic bags placed against side. Pack underwear first in zip loc bags. Plastic helps the next layer to move. Next goes the pants. Long pants first with shorts in the center before folding the legs.
Here is where I deviate. I leave the shirts on hangers covered by plastic from the cleaners. This really helps with wrinkles and all you need to do is shake out and hang once in the cabin. My husband's shirts are large, so I use a small hanger and fold the sleeves and sides to fit. Works great.
Our lightweight jacket, which we use for all travel with layers if needed, is placed in a large zip loc, air removed, and placed in the outside pocket of the carry-on. Once it's unpacked and on a hanger, wrinkles fall out.
Cosmetics are packed in a smaller bag that fits over the handle of the carry-on. Camera, meds, papers are packed in another small bag and placed over the handle.
At least one hand is always free. Wonderful to be free of the large suitcase!

For Carnival - Jacksonville. Only an hour from home. No hotel, etc. to worry about. We also like Nassau, so we do that cruise at least twice each year.
For Princess - since it involves travel, really don't have a favorite. However, Ft. Lauderdale is only six hours travel and we enjoy spending time in the casinos before the cruise.

Do you know if this is applicable to retired personnel as well?
I am also interested in this answer.

We have encountered the "code red" at least five times, the most recent being on the Emerald transatlantic. I never had complaints concerning how Princess handles this. Anything they can do to ensure my well-being is appreciated.
Many times this is brought on the ship at the beginning of a cruise. If people would practice simple, basic hygiene, the spread could be prevented. Wash your hands, don't place your hands on your face, use santizer when soap and water is not available.
It is sad that a cruise line has to take steps to ensure our safety when much of this is brought on ourselves. I have witnessed people drinking from their water bottle then placing it under the spout at the beverage station for a refill, eating from their plate while in line at the Horizon Court, leaving the bathroom without washing their hands and heading straight to the dining room. The list goes on.
Thank you Princess for taking care of these situations. It causes extra work on the already over-worked employees.
(P.S. we are seniors)

September 2010, Emerald Princess. We were on the Caribe deck. Looked down from our balcony. Saw a nude (totally nude) man. One of the few times I was speechless!
