  1. It's called a multi function theater, in essence it smaller and the floor in front of the stage as flat with chairs and small tables that can moved (the redo of the Sunshine is whree this was piloted - as was several new concepts). The shows use part of this area during the show. There has been much talk about it here, with some saying the shows were overcrowded. Our experience in sailing on the Vista (and we went to all the shows) is they were never full. We loved the Vista, Galveston should be thankful for getting her.

    Thanks Jimbo.

  2. Getting very excited for cruise (only two weeks away). I have a few questions regarding the comedy club:

    1. What are the show times?

    2. How far before show starts would you recommend getting there?

    3. Also how good are the comedians? We have gone to the comedy club in the past on Carnival, but it has been a while.

    Thanks.

I believe we are on the same cruise. Mine leaves 2 weeks from tomorrow! :)

  3. I love the fact that they keep bringing over these newer ships to Galveston. Lets me take cruises on them instead of having to go all the way to Florida to experience the newer ships. I am confused though as to why they are doing away with the Bahamas on the ship. I suppose that's because the freedom will still go:) there!

  4. So I have been on many cruises, and have went to many adult comedy shows. I have seen the comedy room completely full on many shows. I wonder if carnival would ever move the adult comedy shows back till maybe 11pm and move those shows into the main theater so there would be plenty of seating. What's your thoughts on that?

  5. I have been on both and prefer the magic. To me the sunshine is way to compact. most places are smaller then most ships. but the sunshine does have a beautiful serenity deck. Now I am sure other peeps will have a different opinion then me. So that is just mine. you will have a blast on either one of them as long as they both get ya outta the us for vacation. 8-)

  6. OMG we had a girls adult vacation, and we embraced all the kids. It was a blast. We did not encounter one rude or disrespectful child, maybe it was it was your attitude towards the situation. Just saying.....:D

You must be one of the parents that lets your kids run all over till 7am!!!!!!! Just saying:D

  7. You may want to invest in a balcony room and pray for quiet neighbors. A cove balcony provides shelter from the sun. May be your best bet to stay away from people. It can be difficult to relax in quiet when some prefer to prefer to enjoy themselves a little loudly. :)

Yeah that usually works until my last cruise. DW and i were sitting on the balcony till the weed being smoked next door was just too much to handle. So we went inside. 2 Hours later we hear a bunch of banging outside my wife was scared i went out to the patio and the 2 guys that were smoking earlier were now fighting each other on their balcony and it busted down the divider between our balcony and there's. Needless to say the worst luck we have ever had on the Balcony.:) Just thought i would share.

  8. We sailed on the Sunshine for two short days. We had a blast! First off let dm suggest to anyone sailing on the Sunshine eat at Cucina del Capitano and Ji Ji Kitchen. We ate at both and can easily say they were the best meals we have ever had on any cruise ship and well worth the extra cost. Red Frog is awesome and the foosball table was a bit hit with my son. The waterworks was spectacular and the Serenity decks were beautiful! Having something to do on deck four was nice and we enjoyed the more open piano bar. The sushi bar was delicious and very fresh. We did big see any buckets collecting water and we did not smell any of the sewage smell people have talked about. Our room was on deck six forward and we won't make that mistake next time. We could here the nightclub in the liquid lounge until 2:00 am both night. All in all a fantastic cruise and we will be sure to sail the Sunshine again!

Yeah, I was in an interior room on deck 7 above the theater/dance club and could hear nothing but Loud thumping every night till around 2 in the morning. I can only imagine how loud it was on deck 6.

  9. You mean you want to stay on a cruise that's just ending and book the next one leaving on that same ship while on that ship and then use the OBC towards the B2B? Only problem I see with this is if the next sailing is full. Plus Carnival may need time to process the OBC. You should post the question to John Heald or call Customer Service.

Yes thats what i am trying to say. LOL I will pose the question to my PVP. Mr Heald has enough things to deal with from other people. :) Thanks man
