Seems people have forgotten the subject of this thread!

2. Included wifi

3. Bring back the Filipino bands.

 

Otherwise just maintain the standards.

Our experience over the entire Seabourn fleet is that we have never had a problem with odor in the suites. Observation Lounge can be an issue and smoking on balconies in port is really only an issue if you luck out with your neighbours.

Our only bad experience was on the smaller ships in warm weather where the smokers essentially took over the bar area on the pool deck. Being the only shaded outdoor area was very limiting. But really should have been something addressed by the staff as they shouldn't let smokers sit at the bar.

On balance, you are unlikely to have an issue, but it can happen and the sooner they ban smoking on board altogether the better!

Agree 100% with the comments of ajpeter. The Oberoi at Agra is Amarvillas and at Udaipur it's Udaivillas. We have stayed at a number of hotels in India, mostly very good, and these are outstanding.

 

Not sure about Taj being closed on Fridays, since the whole site is not a temple, although there is one. Would pay to check.

 

If you go through a good travel agent they will arrange local guides, drivers and people to meet you at airports, stations etc.

 

There are some outstanding sites to visit in India and our e pertinence there on 2 occasions has left us ready to go again.

We have been on Seabourn when they HAVE excluded guests from the dining room for wearing jeans - and rightly so. You don't have to wear a suit or tie but not jeans. i think other guests forced the issue and caused the staff to act to enforce the code.

Interesting about the coupons. We sailed last year on Seabourn and are booked for 2 cruises this year but were not provided with any coupons? Is it still the case that they are provided? JC2
