I don't know what wording is in your planner but mine says Photo Package: All Digital.  If it doesn't specify an amount of photos (ie 10 for $149) then it's unlimited.

That's what it said in mine too.  I didn't see anything that specified it, so I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything in the fine print.

No and I don't believe they take any photos on the last night because there's not enough time to process them.

True.  As long as they take some that day.  It's a 4nt cruise for us, so there really aren't too many oportunities to take official photos.

Hi!  For my sailing, they only list one digital package, and it is “all digital”.  With that package, you get a digital copy of all photos that include people from your stateroom.

So, it's unlimited then?  Is there anywhere that says that?  When I click on the package to see a description it doesn't specify.

  4. On my cruise planner, the only offer is a digital photo package for $119(25% off onboard prices).  How many photos is this for? When I looked at a photo someone else posted in this thread, a 10 photo package costs $149...25% off would be $112.  It is the closest, so would the package be for 10 photos?  If I click "add to cart"  would I be given an option for a higher photo package, or is this particular package and whatever it includes automatically added?

  5. Do they still do a boarding photo for the group?  The last time we cruised, they had people line-up and block the backdrop so they didn't do it.

Also, the last time we actually bought photos, was back in the day when they were all printed and hung on the walls.  We would pick what we wanted and bring them to the cashier.  How do you do it now?  I assume it's through the kiosks, but how/when do you get the photos?

  6. The last time we cruised was a few years ago.  At that time, we pre-paid.  We still received the envelopes in the room, but we also received receipts (that said gratuities were pre-paid) to put into the envelopes to hand to the people.  Do they not do this anymore?  If we pre-pay now (which I did for our upcoming cruise) do we get anything to hand out, or do the staff know that we pre-paid?

We'll be using these when snorkeling and swimming on our Caribbean cruise next month:  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R6KHPGV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

I did test them by putting a paper towel in each one and submerging them in water for two hours.  They were dry as a bone when I opened them.  I was attracted by the size - fits a phone, small wallet, a sunglasses case and a go-pro sized camera) - and the price.

These are some of the ones I had marked on Amazon.  I saw mixed reviews and hesitated.  Also, I wasn't sure if I wanted something with some extra types of cases/bags included.

You don't need any money on CocoCay.

Plus, if your money gets wet, it will not damage it. 🙂

For the camera, I got a waterproof camera, that can even be used underwater.

With any type of waterproof container, test it before using it for real.  Put some paper inside it, and immerse it in water for at least an hour.  See if there is any leakage.

Don't you need money for the little shops and stuff?  Also, I know money doesn't get damaged, but I still prefer not to get it wet.  I was looking for a good sale on a waterproof camera, but didn't see anything.  I would definitely first test anything I buy.  I just wanted to know what other people use.

Part of the kit is a waterproof phone case.  Both it and the bag worked fine, I kept my video camera in the bag with no problem.

Sounds good.  Thanks.  I just wanted an actual opinion from people who are using for the same or similar purposes as I would be, and not some random Amazon reviewers.  I trust people here more.

  10. I've seen many suggestions on these boards about using waterproof bags.  I've been looking at some on Amazon, and many have mixed reviews.  Does anyone have any suggestions for a waterproof bag that they have used and have found to be a good quality for a reasonable price, maybe $15 or less...preferably less.  I will be going to cococay, and I know I can rent lockers, but I do want to keep money, my camera and some smaller things with me.  I'm not going deep sea diving or anything, so it doesn't have to be heavy duty, just good enough if I want to swim or maybe snorkel.  Thanks.

Name changes have to be made before the manifest is sent over to the ship.  This happens 24-48 hours before sailing.  Just to be safe, I would say no more than 3 days before sailing.  But it's not a strict cut-off that every manifest is sent over at exactly the same time before each sailing.

This is what I always thought.

You can replace someone up till the day before sailing, regardless of check in status.

Thank you. I've been hesitant to check in, just in case my mom gets ill.  As long as I know I can find someone else even when checked in, I may just go ahead.  Also, I thought it had to be at least 48 hours before a cruise to replace someone. Good to know I have even more time.

  13. First question is about the app.  Can 1 person do the check in and photos for everyone on the reservation, or does each person have to download the app and do it themselves?

Second question is about check in.  If someone on the reservation checks in and gets sick or just can't go, can we still find a replacement person as long as it is at least the 3 days (or whatever the time is) ahead of departure?  Or, once a person is checked in, you can't replace them?
