  1. I have an April 23rd Cruise coming up with the Final Payment due Feb 7th. So far I have only paid a few dollars over the deposit. I'm pretty sure Carnival will cancel at this point so I want to take advantage of the OBC if this happens. I have the exact same cruise booked already in November so I would just transfer to that one. If they both Cruise, Yay! all the better. Anyway I've never tried to extend final payment dates and want to make sure they give me solid verification. Will my Cruise Manager on the  Carnival Website reflect the new Payment Date immediately? I'm sure I can probably ask for email verification as well? Like so many others I've cancelled and rebooked a few other cruises and don't really want to tie up more money anymore than I have to. I don't really understand the posts on losing your deposit above. Is that only if you cancel your own cruise before they do? I have no plans to do that so I should be good, right? Thanks in advance for your help.

I got my refund on my two cabins on the Breeze 10/10 sailing exactly 7 days after I requested it.  Just FYI.

Alas, this is my last post, as I shan't be living long enough to make another cruise.  But that's ok.  Would have liked one last day at Mullett Bay on St. Martin, but it wasn't to be.  Gonna get some good Santa Fe National Forest time instead.

    Peace.

Don't know the reason you "shant be living long enough to make another cruise" but praying over you and that you will be back to cruising one day soon. God Bless You...

  3. Might as well join in with the questions. I'm sure it has been answered, but cant seem to find the answer now when I need it. And yes, Carnivals phone lines are obviously down, telling everyone to call back later. For my cancelled cruise I plan to use the FCC and put it toward my cruise I already booked for May 2021. I used Gift Cards for both cruises. My May Cruise is $50.00 cheaper than the FCC amount. Do I just lose that extra $50.00 or what???

  4. Just off the Carnival Panorama. For those of you trying to save money or prefer the darkness of an inside cabin you might enjoy these. There are only a few of these on the ship but this cabin has it's own little hallway so very quiet too! The room is configured in a square instead of the hallway you usually walk into. It makes the room appear larger if you ask me but that is probably just my opinion. Made a short video of our Cabin 6340.

I was checking my son’s casino offers and just like you said - they disappeared. I then checked the VIFP number I typed and I saw one number was off. I typed in the correct number and his casino offers were there.

Wow thanks! The number WAS incorrect in the offers and when I typed in the correct VIFP number the casino offers were there!

  6. Wondering if anyone else had this happen. I had a few Casino Offers (nothing major) but some casino cash or drinks on us, etc. I know they were good until the end of June and now they are totally gone! Never had this happen before. Usually they remain on my VIFP offers until the designated end of promotion. Hoping it is a glitch because they are all gone now and no new emails like I was getting every other day. Hmmm.

  7. Thanks😊 Yes, I knew of course for Cuba but our cruise is for Bimini and Costa Maya. (Closed Loop) And like I said my daughter might as well get her passport now anyway.  Wonder what would happen if she showed up with just her birth certificate and Drivers License? Yikes, in reality I would never take that chance!

  8. Even on closed looped cruises it looks like Virgin (Scarlet Lady) is requiring Passports. My daughter will have to obtain hers before we cruise I guess. She needs it anyway.🙂

    Under Guest Obligations:

3.2.    A passport is required for a Guest to board the Vessel. In addition, upon embarkation, the Guest shall have in his or her possession, and assumes all responsibility for obtaining, all visas and/or any other travel and health documents required by any governmental authority, and if s/he fails to do so the Carrier shall have no further obligation to transport or to furnish transportation to the Guest. Proper travel documentation and eligibility to travel is required at the embarkation and throughout the Cruise. The Guest is advised to consult his or her travel agent or appropriate governmental authorities concerning required documentation for travel. The Guest shall indemnify the Carrier for all penalties, fines, taxes, charges, losses and expenses imposed upon or incurred by the Carrier due to the Guest's failure to have proper documentation or otherwise comply with applicable laws or regulations of any kind.

  9. Yes, I also joined my daughter (Sharla, with the Purple hair) there a couple nights. We also closed the Piano Bar the night they sent us down to the Jam Session for lots of fun and good talent. My daughter loved the Red Frog Pub and Murphy's Law. It was her go to place. Adam and the singers and dancers joining in that final night really made the place start jumping! Loved both nights! Loved the entire cruise!

  10. The weather forecast for Aug 30 is showing showers in Juneau, AK. I have the helicopter glacier walk booked through Carnival. Has anyone ever had their tour cancelled by Carnival and if so how was it handled? Hoping to have time to book another excursion if they let us know right away. I've just now been reading these helicopter tours are one of the most cancelled excursions. Also I paid with a gift card. Of course I will go to the shore excursion desk right away but just wondering what some of you may have experienced. Thanks in advance!

  11. This actually happened to my sister twice!! (yes, I know!) On our last couple cruises together, my 2 sisters and I each set up cash accounts. I used gift cards on mine. The first time my sister went over $75.00 and the Second time, same sister went over $60.00! Yes it was the casino and I don't know what amount they would have let her go up to before they stopped letting her spend, but luckily she found out by checking the kiosk both times she thought she was close:o I took her to guest services because I didn't think they would let her off the ship! I asked if they could take some of my gift card money off of my account to pay her balance and they said they could not because I used gift cards but that they could combine our accounts and then I could block her card, which is what we did both times! I know I could have cashed out some cash to cover her from the casino but this worked out better...and the second time she actually paid me back! hahaha On a side note, my "responsible" sister and I just returned from a little 3 day cruise and again, I asked about transferring a few dollars of my "gift card" account over to hers for her birthday. (duh, on my part):D However the nice guest services lady pulled up our accounts and let me pay for one of her previous purchases, from my account, so go figure. I have never had a bad experience at guest services in all my Carnival cruises.

  12. Large format (1 liter and 1.5-liter) bottles of water in the main dining rooms and specialty restaurants. Since this is included with Cheers, what does it look like when brought to your table. They already serve water, right? So do they just bring a big plastic jug and set it on your table or what?

  13. Just received an e-mail from Carnival regarding our April 26, 2018 Cruise. Changing the itinerary a little has no effect on me at all, but just wondering what the "Operational Considerations" might refer to. Any ideas?

    Dear Carnival Imagination Guest,

We want to provide you with an update for the itinerary for your cruise.

Due to operational considerations, we will now visit Ensenada on Saturday. Below is the revised itinerary:.....

Pre-purchased Carnival shore excursions will be automatically adjusted to the new day. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you aboard for what we are certain will be a fun and memorable cruise!

  14. I have used the physical cards both to pay off my cruise and to add to my cash account once onboard. Also used the e-gift cards to pay on actual cruise balance, however I have not tried to use e-gift cards to add to cash account once onboard. Would I just print it out and would there be any problem adding the e-gift cards to my account. Who has actually done this? Haven't seen the actual physical cards lately on AARP and need some for my upcoming cruise in April. Thank You!
