We will be in St. Croix in February and wondering which beach to go to. Sandy Point, Fort Frederik Beach or Rainbow Beach? Does anyone know which is the easiest to get to and if there are chairs and umbrellas to rent?
-
How much is a taxi to Sandy Point? Also where do we get the taxi? Do they rent chairs and umbrellas at this beach? Do they take US dollars?
-
Yes I just did on my B2B we did in January.

What was the charge to get into breezes and was the buffet lunch you mentioned and use of the kayak included in the entrance fee?

Well as a hardy New Englander I'm guessing what some might consider cold we wouldn't. If it's in the 50's F we will be happy of course our travel companions who are from Arizona will be freezing

Trying to pack for our upcoming cruise and land trip. We will be flying from Sydney to Auckland on October 14th. I am struggling with what to pack. We are spending 2 days in Auckland area and 2 days in the area where The Lord of the Rings was filmed and the Glow worm caves are. Should we plan for long pants and a coat or shorts?

That does not apply to discounted gift cards. It's a gift card and they have no idea if you paid full face value for it or got it at a discount. I know someone who has been using them for a couple years paying for the whole cruise plus shore excursions.
I just paid off 2 cruises, including taxes and insurance using gift cards that I got at a discount.

Sort of. The motorway to the Blue Mountains is the M4.To get to Featherdale you would need to exit the M4 at Reservoir Rd (Blacktown) turning right after the exit. Follow Reservoir Rd which will change name to Balmoral Rd at the intersection of Bungarribee Rd. Then take the second left into Kildare Rd (opposite the Blacktown Shopping Mall). Featherdale is on the right along Kildare Rd.
After visiting Featherdale, retrace your steps to the M4 to continue up to the Blue Mountains.
Thank you soooooo very much for the detailed directions. So very helpful and I'm very appreciative.

Question for folks I. Australia and New Zealand. I will be in Sydney and the Blue Mountains and New Zealand and surrounding areas in October, is this a buggy season? Will we encounter lots of mosquitoes ? How about flies?

Will be traveling to Auckland the middle of October, what will the weather be? Should we have a heavy coat or sweater or is it shorts and T-shirt weather?

I've had my suitcase opened twice by TSA not a big deal as it's always been at the end of a trip and I hoped they enjoyed all our dirty laundry.

We have a rental car from Sydney and will be heading to the Blue Mountains. Are there any things we should stop to see in route to the Mountains? We want to go to Featherdale park, Echo Point, Scenic World, Wentworth Falls and the Jenolan caves. We will be there for 2 days and 2 overnights. Is there anything else we should add and in what order would we be doing these things?

Our original plan was to rent a car, then we thought the train may be better. Where did you rent your car?
We went through Expedia for the rental and the company is Avis. We pick up in star city pyrmont.
