Well that sucks, it's long enough as it is but having to listen to it twice is gonna be torture.

Does the Valor have real refrigerators or the coolers in the cabins?

I use to think cruisers were a wonderful group of people, I am now questioning that. Seriously people you are all so heartless. If indeed two people passed away, regardless of how they might have died, have some compassion for them and their families. Just for one minute try to think about someone else and put yourselves in their shoes.
:(:(:(:

I have read several post regarding a sewage smell on the Breeze, it appears it is in the aft part of the ship. For those of you who have experienced this does it matter if you are higher up or lower? We are aft way down on deck 1 in January and I'm trying to decide if I should change cabins.

Thank you for the chair info shutterbug :)

I have read that it's free to get into Kokomo beach but you have to pay for a beach chair, does anyone know how much they charge for a chair? Do they make you put a deposit down also? I know we have been some places where they require a credit card and then charge for the chair.

We gave a tour booked in DR in Jan with LaRomana Excursions and their site says they will pick us up at the port at the taxi station. Sure hope we don't have the same trouble.

So enjoying your review, thanks for taking the time to share your cruise

Last year we were on the Explorer of the Seas for Halloween. The cruise it self was the worst cruise ever (Hurricane Sandy) but Halloween was fun. I made my husbands and my costumes, he was the Grinch stole Christmas and I was the Cat in the Hat. They gave out prizes for individual costumes and group costumes and I don't remember the individual who won but the group of 4 that won were great - They were Dorothy, The Scarecrow, The Tin man and the Lion from The Wizard of Oz. Wish I was cruising this Halloween can't wait to do it again.

MickeyA53 - Your right sorry I did mean Breeze not Dream. Have done the Dream and we weren't fans of it. WOW Mr. Sanchos has changed since we were there last, they didn't have a pool and the water toys were old and slimy. We paid to use them but I didn't have the upper body strength to pull myself up so it was a waste for me but my husband did play on them. I also noticed they seem to have a lot more water toys there now. We are heading to Cozumel in January but gonna try out the Beach Club. Really looking forward to your Breeze review. Oh and your pictures are beautiful, were you using a water camera for the pictures on the water toys?

TicketS53 - loving your review, I loved the Liberty thought she was a beautiful ship. Heading out on the Dream in January so looking forward to your review on her. I noticed you have cruised on a lit of Carnival ships but you haven't been on my favorite the Spirit. She is now home ported in Australia, love that ship.

Sorry I do have another question though, how long of a taxi ride was it?
-
Opps sorry Paul I just went through your review and found your pictures of the Dreams resort and you gave the e-mail address. Thanks and have a good day.

Paul I LOVED your review and all the amazing pictures. My husband and I spent an afternoon reading and looking at the pictures a few weeks back. I have a question for you. In the Dominican Republic you went to the Dreams resort. Can you tell me how I can get in touch with them? We will be there in Jan. and after I read your review I wrote down that there is where we were gonna go but I didn't write down any details. Thanks for your time?

Does anyone know if you have to pay to get onto Eagle Beach? Is there a charge for chairs and palapas?
-
Loved your review and pictures. We will be on the Breeze next Jan. and I can't wait. I have one question, Junkaroo beach do you go in the same direction as the straw market to get to it?
-
Paul, my husband and I enjoyed your review with your amazing pictures. You are a great photographer.
We will be on the Breeze next Jan. and after seeing your pictures can't wait.
Oh and I agree the Carnvial Liberty is a beautiful ship but our favorite is the Carnival Spirit. We were on it back in 09 and then again last year after they re-did it and before then sent it to Australia.

Cruised out of San Diego last April and it is my favorite port to cruise out of. We flew in the day before and got up real early in the morning and walked down to the port to watch the ship come in. Then we went and had breakfast, went back to our hotel and took the shuttle at 11am to the pier. Dropped our luggage off and walked right into the building to get our sail and sign card which took about 10 minutes. We were in our bathing suits with a cold drink in our hands, laying on deck chairs before noon.
I ALWAYS bring my own water. Just got off RCCL a week ago and the water was yellow, no thanks I'll bring my own.

Hello All, Wow wish I had seen this post back in January. It appears most of you will be cruising soon where as my next cruise is not until the end of October.
3 years ago I was a size 8 and now I'm busting out of a 16:( I quit smoking 4 years ago and I have put on 40 pounds:eek:. I just don't have any willpower, every night I say tomorrow is the day I'm gonna be good and I might start that way but I don't end that way.
I am gonna check out some of the sites you folks mentioned for logging your food intake and hope I can stick to it.
Keep up the good work you are all doing I hope I can be as good as all of you.

Wow glad I clicked on this board. I usually roll our clothes to pack and I tend to over pack so I'm excited to try this. I'll be cruising in Jan. and look forward to trying it:p Thanks for sharing.

I was on the MSC Poesia this past January. 7 days of the most AWFUL FOOD. I hate cooking and am not very good at it so anything that someoneelse cooks or is not a frozen dinner is good to us. When on the 3rd day my DH says to me, "I miss your cooking" I knew I wasn't the only one thinking this food SUCKS.

Deck -9
Cabin # - 9368
Class –Inside
Starboard or Port Side - Starboard
Bed near?(balcony or bath) –Bath
Very large inside cabin. Plenty of room for suitcases and lots of storage. Bathroom was good sized. This room was right at the end of the hall on a corner. We had people on 2 sides and it was very quiet.
