Maybe because to me it is a delicate question.i asked it because i was curious if this was in fact true, i knew i could find out on this board. Did not expect to be replied to by someone trying to make me feel like an idiot! I have travelled internationally a lot of years but have never been told not to flush toilet paper.  I have encountered many bidets, I love them but from what I am told Greece does not have bidets.
Just find it odd that for such a popular travel spot nobody ever speaks of this.

It bothers me lot, I am wishing I did not have  two days before and two days after in Athens, I’m just  city girl who through out all my travels to Europe have never encountered this before. I’m sure I will survive.

Ignore the people who feel the need to make negative comments about your question. Your right, that's why this board exists. No question is too trivial.

The machines are not limited to carry-on size luggage.  The size constraints don't exist like they do for aircraft.

I'm not sure if all airports have the same size X-ray machines but at the San Diego airport the lady in front of us was alone with 2 children and she forgot to drop her large bag at bag check. They sent it through the machine for her and told her to see what they could do for her at the gate. I was surprised that the suitcase went through with no problem. She apologized profusely to us and the TSA agents for the confusion she had caused..

We boarded the Apex in Piraeus last October 2023.  I believe we were in terminal B.  We had hired a George's Taxi to drive us from our Athens hotel to the port.  The huge parking lot seemed a bit chaotic, but our driver knew exactly where to go.  Porters came out to receive our luggage and they pointed us to the correct entrance.  After check-in we were seated for 10-15 minutes in an area with rows of seats.  Boarding after that went systematically row by row, no skipping line allowed.  We arrived at the port close to our assigned boarding time of 11:30 AM, and it was 30 minutes give or take before we were on board.  There were no language barriers or confusion; it was orderly and easy.

    Thank you!

We have reserved with George's Taxi also.

For those of us traveling with you via this thread, I do so hope that someone will continue on with daily post and pictures for us that will only ever see much of  the world though your eyes. Especially with this news blast to appear around the 17th.

I agree! Love checking in to see what's going on. I also follow some on YouTube. It might have been mentioned here before as I don't see every post, but Living Phase 2 and BZTravel do a great job. Also a crew member, Katherine Myers but she doesn't post a lot as I'm sure she is really busy. There is at least one legitimate TicToc and YouTuber, Brooklyn Travels the World. She is a grad student on the full WC with her sister and parents.

  5. I don't think it would be a problem especially if you tell them it's a medical issue. DH and I were walking back to our cabin on the last night and someone had set out 2 metal lawn chairs (with colored tags) in the hall with their luggage.

If it wasn’t a Celebrity excursion how would they know why there was a delay.

Private tour operators will notify the ship or pier. Their livelihood depends on getting their customers back in time. I was on a private tour one time, when a car wreck blocked the major roads. Not only did our driver notify the ship but he also knew a lot of the bus drivers for ship excursions and knew they were stopped behind us.

No. The system recognize one device which you have to use all the time.
I hear what you are saying and you would think it should work. See what others have to say. I always done it this way.

This is NOT correct. We just came off the Regal and we bought the 1 device package. Hubby and I used it all week on 4 devices. Both of us had a phone, I had a tablet and hubby had his computer.

You do NOT have to sign out of anything. What ever device you sign on to will kick out the other device that was last used. It was very simple!

ETA.....oops I should have read further. Looks like others got it right.
